| I remember beating this game with my firend on several occasions as a child. Once in a while, I load up the rom and play it up to the first level only..so I can hear him say the infamous quote in that groggy ass voice as if the soundcard was submerged in water. I also love how you're able to punch the air, just like martial artists do in real life. Punch the air.... i dont know if that's suppose to resemble anything near an uppecut. anyways, hearing I'm Bad!!! is the only reason worth playing, the only reason to buy this double dragon piece of shit clone in the first place..... I'M BAD!!!!! download the rom now!!! |

| This game sucks!, it has the worst story ever,the president has been kidnapedby ninjas and onlyblade and striker can save him from the dragon ninja,who the hell comes up with these names. But as usual it gets somehow worse sinceevry now and then a migit ninja will come it kick your butt since his really short and the controls suck.The boses come back in diffrent colors as normal enemies, and the first boss is harder than the last, which is some guy in a helecopter that you manage to take out using your fists. And one last thing the horible audio at the end of a level that says"im bad",my brothers bald spot comes closer to words than what it says |

| I remember the arcade game being really sweet, but the NES version is really mediocre. Gameplay and graphics just suck, its very difficult to dodge any enemy attacks. It is kinda fun once you get into it, but there are other beat'em up games that are a lot better than this one. 2 out of 4 stars. |

| Y'know how those executives sit in a room and try and figure out what kids like? We've gotten such great results from those meetings like "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" and "Battletoads". But this game, is like, they pulled Bill and Ted aside and asked them what they liked. To which you get a game that is obviously aimed to kids. Phrases like 'Are you a bad enough DUDE to rescue the president' are supposed to make you reply "YEAH! I'M A BAD DUDE AND I'M GONNA PROVE IT BY PLAYING AND BEATING THIS GAME RIGHT NOW, DUDE!" but end up sending you to the floor in an uproar of laughter. I recommend you buy this game if you'd like a laugh, i mean, for god's sake you drink COKE to get health and your enemies are endless hoards of ninjas. This game is a weak attempt at taking everything kids like(d) in the 80's and turning it into a game for them. In other words, it's a scam to get your money, don't buy it if you want to have fun. |

| What were they thinking? That's all I can say. This game was nerve-rackingly dull. Fighting the same enemies over and over made it a snoozer, and the controls were murder to figure out! Basically, the Final Fight series was much better, even the VERY first one. I give it a 4/10. |

| BAD DUDES is a classic game where you have to rescue the president and beat up alot of thugs yet the only part i hate in this game is when the character says IM BAD...... |

Bad Dudes
"Are you a bad enough dude to save the president?" Yes,Yes the saying is a classic, but what about the game? This was a pretty big arcade game back in the day (even on the cover of the game it says "top arcade hit" go figure...), so of course it got a port onto the NES. The basis of the game is the army hired two guys off the street that looked buff to go and save the president. So you have to go through various places to try and find and save the president. Its one of the more cheesy game plots on the NES.
Graphics: 5
"Those fools thought they could port bad dudes to the Nes, they were wrong Bwahahaha, Bwahahaha!"The graphics are OK. In fact this is one of the most average looking games on the NES. All the sprites are fairly done and there is some flicker but overall the graphics are riding the thin line between sucking and being average. See watch, sucking/average.
Audio: 9
I'm sorry but I love the music in this game. I just love it. Plain and simple. I don't know why I love it, as a matter of fact I can't think of one song right now. But everytime I listen to it, it gives me that tingly feeling down my back. Listen and judge for yourself on this controversial topic. As for the sound effects there the typical stuff for a beat um'up game. Except for the unforgettable battle cry at the end of each level "I'm Bad!"
Gameplay: 5
This game is just another average beat um'up. You do get to pick who you want to be at the beginning either striker or blade but they're both the same. You can do a spin kick and a power punch which are also pretty cheesy looking. I do have to give it originality points for cool bosses. The first boss even got his own game, Karnov. The last boss is way to simple though. He would give shame to the name Bad Dudes, if it had a reputation.
Replay: 4
This game is really easy. To tell you the truth this game is a no brainer (Whoopee, big surprise). My first grade cousin and I always used to have a blast playing it mainly for that reason alone. After you beat it there is absolutely no reason to play through it again.Thus the replay value is low, BAM!
Overall: 5
With a cheesy plot and a great tag line Bad Dudes was destined to be a sure fire hit. But then people saw the amazingly easy last boss and the horrid ending. I wouldn't recommend going out and buying this game anytime soon. But if your looking for a quick fix, go buy Qix. Otherwise only buy this game in desperate measures of a beat um' up.
