Oh well, what can you expect from a sequel? Sometimes you hit and in this case you miss. The gameplay is too fast and aggravating to be Zelda-like. The distances you have to travel are too great to be sent back to the beginning every time you die, and somehow the graphics, except for the start title page, are worse than the first one. The tricks Link does after awhile are cool, however, and so are the towns with their different secrets. Music is OK, and the enemies are challenging. I'll just play the first one before this, because it's simply a better game. 8 out of 10.
By the way--this site is missing a LOT of NES games! Where are Deadly Towers, Ikari Warriors, Trojan, Super Pitfall, and others? They deserve to be reviewed! Cool website, though.--ToddVania
