This game was always the oddball of the series, and we know why. It has hardly any similarities to the original, and it's many sequels that would come later. However, it was still a fun game with some cool features. It was nice getting you pick your character and being able to pick up and throw enemies. It's a good game, but it just doesn't feel like Mario. Fans of Mario 1 and Mario 3, won't necessarily enjoy this one.
