Star Tropics NES Review - 3/5

Another "unforgiving 8-bit" game that also made me cry. I could never get past the part where you had to get something to help the sick princess. And since my mom threw the manual away, I didn't have some code for the submarine. The controls SUCKED. And I hated how he could only jump on to tiles. C'mon, it's just not natural! I just should have made my parents get me a Game Genie. My older sister's boyfriend could never beat the game either, and he was seven years older thank me. Hearing that Star Tropics midi files (especially the "cave" theme) did bring a smile to my face though.
