Shingen the Ruler NES Review - Great Game

I think this game is an exellent game. It was one of the first rpg's I ever played following dragon warrior and destiny of the emperor. The trick is that you must follow a pattern and get started the right way or you will not do well in it. When you first look at it the graphics suck and the game play seems to take long because of the details. But once you really get into it, there is so much to do that it hooks you. th etrick is to attack a place and the castle but retreat before you take over. You do this over and over to raise your levels. A similar series is romance of the 3 kingdoms. they are better because they don't take long from month to month. anyway if you have good managing skills you will like it! 8/10
