Has anyone ever seen the movie Aliens? That's what I think of when I play this game. The wierd, freaky aliens that you blow up, and the creepy bosses. Quite imaginative, I'd say the only game that might rival it in that area is Contra. Aside from that, this game still rules. The NES still had some primitive graphics at this point, but the music still manages to give the game a grim, foreboding tone, and the detail into destroying the enemies adds to the enemies. Plus, the action never stops; it's a fast-paced shoot-em-up platform that'll keep you busy for hours. The only game that could rival this is it's super NES sequel (Which happens to be my favorite game)
