Dragon Warrior IV NES Review - Best RPG Ever

by Ironman on Saturday, September 7, 2002
Before Sephiroth killed Aeris, before Pokemon took the nation by storm, the NES produced this piece of Art.
Why this is the best RPG ever is the simple fact that it created so many of the ideas we see today. For example the Day/Night system was introduced here. Also we were first introduced to a sympathetic villian a first fo this era. Necrosauro is the first villian I actually felt sorry for.
The one thing to seperate this though was the chapter system. This game starts off with four small stories seemingly unrelated until the end when they all join forces to take on a greater evil.
This is a must buy for any true collector or fan of the NES, my copy still works to this day and can be found for around $50 at funcoland or some place like that. FInd it and enjoy it.
