Because they are fictional characters. The games are fictional. No need to analyze the hell out of it.

Because he saved . Its useless fairy residents asked him to do their dirty work, and I can't reallly say I expected them to keep things under control after Mario left.

| If In SMB 2 (USA) The Plot was a dream, Why are Shy guys Real (at least in the Games)

| If Mario And Luigi are from Brooklyn, New York, yet they're delivered to a mushroom house?

Mario could have been dreaming of the SMB2 adventure. There's too much proof in other games to say it was all a dream.
Or when they where waving at the end the sub cons put them to sleep, carried them through a portal to the Mushroom Kingdom, and made it look like a dream.

When the Bros. where delivered in the Mushroom Kingdom Bowser's minions started getting active again. There parents worried for the Bros. safty and transported them to live in Brooklyn.

i have a lot of knowledge of Super Mario Bros. i am a hardcore gamer when it comes to mario games.

For me it's not really about gaming anymore, just more of the concept of Mario.
