Does anyone know the name of that game that has an Old Man on the cover playing a Banjo?

Phalanx. Supposedly, they wanted to "stand out".

Absolutely nothing to do with the cover, I assure you. Something involving alien oppressors. It was a sidescrolling shooter, with nice graphics and music but pretty ho-hum gameplay.

i got it because of the Art and it had a 2d Space ship on it so i guessed it might be a shooter.

That's one of the weirdest covers I've ever seen.
It's almost as weird as some Japanese stuff I ran in.

Is that old man on the back of the box also or just on the front?

Looked it up, the old man was featured on the front of the box, not the back, and was on the cartridge.
