On my laptop, I had saved text documents and photos that were near and dear to me. These got deleted (by that, I mean first moved to the recycle bin, and then the recycle bin was emptied). Now, the photos are not so important, because I can get them from someone I know, but it's the documents.. I've tried some undelete programs, but I need instructions and recommendations. If there's anyone here who can help me retrieve my lost documents, I would be so thankful.

Have you tried a system restore? I have never done one so I don't know if it restores your data... I know a buddy of mine does it every time his PC hiccups

Possibly your best bet, I don't know of any good/reliable undelete programs...
