Halloween
So, is there anybody here who's celebrating this occasion this year by any chance?
Myself, nope. I never really bothered, but I've gotten like a hundred people on my door today.
BTW, I found this on I-Mockery and found it to be funny:
haha, I remember when that article was new in 2002. still funny.
I did have a tea party, but only a few peoples came, so I had it at home. we listened to Malice Mizer, watched Horror films and trick or treated the rest of the night. I'd sleep, but I'm too jacked up on tea and candy.
I went out Trick and or Treating last night. I went as LeatherFace (From the 2003 remake, I wanted the one from the 1974 one but they didn't have that one). Anyways I got lots of Candy! Pretty sad I guess..16 and I am still Trick and Or Treating...
I will go agine next year for sure.
The thing that comes to my mind when I think of Halloween (for me) is watching Goosebumps and the Treehouse of Horror episodes of The Simpsons when I was 10, or my most "formative" years. I never really had a thing for going out Trick-or-Treatin', I tried it once with another guy from my former class, but that time someone, that was way bigger than us, tired to steal our candy. So I sort of lost my "Halloween Feeling" after that. We did manage to escape with the candy in good hands though.
I've attended one Halloween Party at Elementary School too, that was actually pretty fun, we watched "Scary Movie", but you grow out of it I guess...
Well, I half-assed celebrated, I dressed up as Dracula and played "spooky" songs on the guitar for a few friends. We got no trick-or-treaters around the neighborhood at all. Of course, I live on a busy street and parents really aren't too crazy about their kids being road pizza !
Just threw away the jack-o-lantern yesterday; it was all moldy inside and disgusting, kind of a neat effect, though. Its face was all caved in and it looked like an old geezer with his dentures out!
