Mod can Lock.
I have thought this over and I am leaving Nes Files. I am sick of the way I am treated here. If you still want to talk to me you can catch me on my forum or on MSN MESSENGER. I would like to say good bye to those who were kind enough to me.
Hahaha, it's the internet man. Don't take it personally. The people you talk to here, they don't exist. They are just words you read in your internet browser.
I agree with you though, this place is losing it's friendly, open atmosphere.
This is probably the result of my last comments, and I am truly sorry. I'm feeling like crap today, and I shouldn't be taking it out on you.
Also possible that I'm involved as well, but I've not said anything personal, or any attacks really. But some of my comments may have been misinterpreted. I just like to state my opinions rather strongly. Personally I was/am rather fond of Sir Figgington.
It's sad to read that the nesfiles is loosing another person...Although I haven't noticed that anyone has treated you without respect. If you're still there, what exactly makes you leave?
If you were in a club (wether it be glee club, chess club, mock trial) or a sport, you wouldn't quit due to "not getting along" with another person on the team (and we all are on the same team : Team I LOVE VIDEO GAMES).
You wouldn't quit because in life everyone comes across people that are "less than nice", and to quit something you like/love over a "person" that sucks is only letting them win. Don't give the satifaction/im
POWerment to whomever is giving you shit.
Don't leave airfiggy give the nesfiles another chance.
You members are right...I will stay...I got all pissed and said I was leaving...Never Mind I will not go. Sorry for wasting your time Mod can lock this thread if he/she wants.

Shes got a point.
And I am still new here on the forums so I also share some of your feelings....... But like DNA said:
"Hahaha, it's the internet man. Don't take it personally. The people you talk to here, they don't exist. They are just words you read in your internet browser."
I personally liked seeing the figgster here.
You've been catching crap? When?!
Why do to shut up allready! It's not fair.
I hate you all. I'm going to sit in my room, wear black clothes, write crappy poetry, and cut myself. Wah.
Well, I guess in a sense, Mr. DNA is right, but this is a website for people who has one thing in common, we all share the same interests, the NES and Nintendo games. On the forums people should be able to talk about their interests without the feeling of beeing rejected. The people you discuss with do excist, only in places all over the globe, who all has feelings. I'm glad airfiggy decided to stay, I remember one incident when there was a person here at the forums a long time ago who decided to leve because of the comments that the person got.
If your talking about EvilNES, he's still here, and didn't leave because of the comments. He has a little cult following.
No, I'm not talking about EvilNES, but did he leave?
Yeah, Evil is usually busy with other things.
... dammit, I've got to find a way to make mad... wait, I know!
i thought about leaving because time , and i thought Screw that i love the place/
Yes, I agree. What I meant by my comment though, is that you have to learn to detach yourself from what goes on over the internet. Everyone is hiding behind a mask of anonymity and thus aren't inhibited by the normal rules of social etiquette.
I'm reminded of a (probably now famous) pic from the SA forums:
God bless it.
I'm not sure what happened, I'm a bit confused. But it's cool to hear you're stickin' around Figginator.
Oh, and shut up Uber Newb. (I bet that smiley just killed it though)
. You know you want to...
...sell your soul-er, I mean, pay us. Yeah, that's it.
Cool that you decided to stay.
It's nice to have people who post news and stuff regularly.
I'm glad you decided to stay Mr. Fligg. It wouldn't be the same without you.
Glad you decided to stay. This mainly is the only board I even often check up on. I dont post that often though.
I hate you all. I'm going to sit in my room, wear black clothes, write crappy poetry, and cut myself. Wah.
you weren't doing that allready?
Well.... I meant more than I already , of course.
Because when you *.
I don't like it when people leave because of petty differences. I used to be the same way though. It takes a tough hide to post on message boards and perseverance will eventually pay off.
Perhaps I missed something too. In the heat of online debates**, it's easy to forget that there's actual human beings with feelings and stuff behind the monikers and text. There is certainly nothing wrong with being "hurt" by whatever comments that might have been thrown one's way, but running away is not the best choice.
I doubt there are very many video game related message boards that are as friendly and laid back as NES Files.
With that said, I still agree with Toubabokoomi's post*** to a certain extent.
Oy! At justified my existence.
Your existence has been justified but that one time? You're going to need blacker clothes, extra stationary and more knives, man.
ahead of you. There is only one way for moi to become more obnoxious and whiny. Good Charlotte, here I come! Bwahahaha! Look! Their whiny, pretentious lyrics represents my inner angst!
especially that "Rich and the Famous" are they not "rich" and "famous" themselves? so what are they complaining about? even in the lyrics they say something along the line of they're always complaining.... that whole song is
Contradicting themselves, and quite funny. sorry to get off subject
i like how a mod STILL hasn't locked this thread
No reason to lock active, non-offensive discussion.
