Watch a Star Wars movie in just 2 easy minutes!
Those are freaking cool!
Thata DAMN lot of frames.
The most amazing thing about those images is that they're both only around 200KBs in file size.
That is some serious compression.
That's really nice.
Thanks.
It's so silly!
But a pretty good synopisis of the movie.

Yeah, I noticed that, too.
...
I also noticed the New Mexico Landfill joke.
thanks! i've never seen any of the
Star Wars movies.... and now i don't have to
Ha! Awesome! I look forward to the other 4 movies being done
Blasphemy! See them anyway!
Anyway, those are pretty cool, and probably have taken at least a month to do each one (if one had that much time.)
They are quite cool to say the least. Can't beat watching the real thing (ok, the DVD) though.
But unfortunately Episodes 4-6 are on DVD only in the enhanced version from 1997.
You gotta see the real originals, i.e. you'll have to get old tapes or - like me - the LDs!
I wasn't aware of that. We have "A New Hope" on VHS, it belongs to my dad.

Laser Discs are quite rare around here
I still remember my "much older" boyfriend had one. I found it annoying to flip the disk over to watch the rest of the movie!
i saw a
Star Wars laser disc for $1.99 somewhere the other day. they had a few others too. i think one of them was some kind of a pink floyd album or something
This might kind of sadden you...
Or it might excite you, if they're still there...
I find the prospect exciting! widescreen laserdiscs?
I really an going to have to buy one because i beleive in the following things:
1. HAN SHOT FIRST!
2.All movies should be in Widescreen.
3.The music in the SWT was fine the way it was.
bah! i HATE widescreen
bah! i HATE widescreen
Note that your eyes are horizontal, not vertical... widescreen is how things are supposed to be seen. pay attention to your field of vision, can you see more up and down without moving your eyes/head or left and right?
Anyone that stops to think about that CAN'T hate widescreen. anyone that hates it now has a standard TV, and thinks that all widescreen has the bars on it. Go to Best Buy, or Future Shop and have a look at a real widescreen TV, running real widescreen content (many of them will be stretched, sadly...) then tell me it doesn't look better.

Luke's Got a point there.

yeah we got a widescreen tv in the living room. widescreen movies do look alot better on it, but i usually watch DVDs in my bedroom, where i have a standard tv and for that, widescreen looks stupid
I think (and this is just my opinion so don't get all snappy) but fullscreen is like being ripped off. They cut the frame size down; so you in all technicallness, get less movie.
For example: in the
Star Wars, A New Hope, there is a scene where there is a bunch of storm troopers who enter a room. In the full screen version, that's it, that's all, but in wide screen you can actually see one of the storm troopers on the far right hand side, bumps into the door frame and he adjusts his helmet. You can see that in the wide screen, but not really in the full screen.
