The Narnia Thread.
The movie comes out this friday! I am in the middle of the tenth Chapter. I am dieing to see the movie. Who here has read the book and is seeing the Movie? I hope they don't screw up the Movie.
I read the book 3 years ago. I wouldn't mind seeing the movie. It looks good from what I've seen.

I tried some Turkish Delight and its eww....
I've read the book many times. I've only read the first three books (I have all I just haven't gotten around to it yet).
It was definatly one of my favorites as a child.
Airfiggy, have you seen the cartoon movie of it? I think it's from the 70's (like the hobbit movie cartoons).
I am going to see this movie, even if I have to walk to it.
Thanks for the heads up on Turkish Delights, I've often wanted to buy them to see why Edmund though they were worth what havic he caused.
My class read it together like in 4th grade ,and we got extra credit if we made turkish delight and brought it ( my teacher gave the recipe ) its pretty good to me.

I haven't seen the cartoon version. Would you turn over your friends for candy?
Speaking of other versions, does anyone remember seeing the TV series? I loved that as a kid. I want to see the movie but probably won't bother seeing it at the cinema.
As for turkish delight, I also don't like it but my mum loves the stuff. I usually get her some for Christmas.

I think I saw it. My memory ain't what it used to be...
I don't think i'll see the film. The cinema is a tad bit pricey and i'm cheap. Plus, i'm cutting back so I can get a Dreamcast.
some guy at my church went and bought out two movie threaters just so the church could see it so i'm goin to see it tonight at 7 o'clock if any of you want my opinion about it just ask me later.......
I love those books. I got the entire box set of the series when I was in second grade, and I have it. The Narnia books were very close to my childhood.
That being said, not sure if I'll see the movie. It seems to be trying too hard to be Lord of the Rings, and it looks like it lost that wonderful fairy-tale quality the books had.
I can't wait I am seeing this movie at 6:40PM tonight!!! OMG I CAN'T WAIT...
Just got back from the movie.........ITS SWEET! 9.5/10 GO SEE IT!! Its true to the novel at the most part.

I haven't read the books, but I saw a trailer to Narnia and now I'm looking forward to watching the movie together with my wife.

Took care of that.
Alright thankx. I wonder how good the game is. The NDS version I want to try.
It is $49.99CDN the same price as first party Nintendo games.
I also have not read the books but i do want to see it.
Saw it too. frickin sweet. The effects diddn't beat you over the head, and the plot wasn't sugar coated.
I went to see it. I didn't love it or hate it. It was mediocre at best.
And the game stinks apparently.
Saw it on Tuesday and liked it. I hope there will be a part 2.
They probably will (it's made money hand over fist in the USA alone). If not, you could read the other six books (there are seven in total).
I've only gotten through book 3 (and that was a long time ago), maybe when I'm done with The Joy Luck Club I'll pick it up again.....
I'm pretty sure there'll be another part, too. Unless the first part has completely flopped at the cinema, but that does not seem likely.
Maybe they'll do a slew of sequels, and turn it into the next Harry Potter. I must admit, I'd be interested in seeing a movie of .
My brother got the game for christmas, and got me to play it with him. It was allright. But it's nothing I haven't seen before. If you liked the Lord of the Rings games, you might get a kick out of it.
I just got home from seeing this "wonderment for your eyes".
I liked it; though Lucy's teeth scared me.....
