I was interested in what some of the actual "on-topic" discussions of it would be like.

There was a debates thread?!

It was the one asking about which members have a tendency to disagree with each other about certain things. It ended up becoming a run-on joke thread but there were a few posts on it that were on-topic.

It either got deleted or maybe it was "renamed" to something else.
Anyway, I can't find it.

Well, who started it?

I'm sure it got deleted after the whole "I agree" "I disagree" fiasco.

I don't quite remember. It was some newer member who's probably either ran away in confusion or is discouraged from ever starting a topic again.

Anyways it's partially my fault since I was the one who started the whole mess.

I think it was Atariboy (or something along those lines) who started it.

Yeah it was atariboy, and i thought it might have actually been a good topic..

Well, it did go down the can.

It got deleted so that the +1 posters would see their precious post count drop by 10 or so. Got to say I found that quite amusing...

I'll talk to atariboy about starting it again. Maybe it'll work out if we can seriously get debates going (DEBATES, though, not just arguments).

Feel free to open it again, Just keep everyone from posting "I agree" "I disagree" 900,000 times, and it won't get deleted.

Nobody even said anything to agree or disagree with, other than that the thread was pointless. which I agreed with.
