Filter top-10 systems ever!

I was watching the show Filter on G4/Tech tv and they are counting down the top 10 systems of all time! here is the list

10) Sega Mega Drive/Genises
9) Game Boy
8. PS1
7) GBA SP
6) Sega DreamCast
5) Xbox
4) PS2
3)
2) Snes
1) N64!

I find it funny how the top 3 systems of all time was Nintendo systems!

I remember my grandmother used to call my NES "nintender". I miss her I figured NES would be at the top.

why does it say SMS/Genesis? they were two VERY different consoles. That's like saying NES/SNES...

and the N64 should NOT be number 1... it was a fine console, and I enjoy it, but it doesn't outrank the GBA, or the NES and SNES...

My suggestion is to stop watching G4 entirely... that station is about pop culture, not video games

I like all those systems that are listed up there, EXCEPT the N64. I've only found a handfull of games that I actually like to play for it. I'm honestly not sure how they came up with the idea that the N64 is the best system ever. I think the GameBoy was more enjoyable personally (no offense greatmightypoo ).

Something else that annoys me about that list is number 10. They DO realize that the SMS and Genesis was two different systems, right? G4 is such a joke. It used to be techie info and what-not. Now, although I loved the old shows, they even air The Man Show! WTF is that doing on a "station" like that? Anyway, I'm getting off-topic here. Personally, I don't like that list.

Lol. None taken. I love my Gameboy Color (just not as much as my N64).
But I was surprised that PS1 wasnt ranked first. I was thinking that with all the games for it and amount of developers that it would win for the sheer amount of different good, well designed games

i think the N64 should of been #10, if on the list at all. basically what i'm saying is THE N64 SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!

GOD! G4 doesnt know crap when it comes to games witch is why I stopped watching that crap network. N64 first...oh man ...not in my opinion it should have been Nes,Snes,Sega Megadrive,Ps1,N64...and so on. And Roth I wonder why in the world they show the man show on a video game channel myself. Hell will freeze over before I watch that supposed "Tv for gamers" Network. IMO majorty of people on that channel doesn't give enough credit to the systems that paved the way for the new gen.. And XPLAY tries too hard to be funny and fails to make me laugh. Chilidsh humor is more like it. And on top of that they purposely bash 98% of what Nintendo does.

Well, after E3 happend they were already judging the revolution by saying "oh wow its just a black box" and what not. They do enjoy the gba and whatnot but I guess I mean they purposely bash the gamecube and call it 'kiddy" and crap like that.

Well, what could they do? They were excepting something to see, and all they got was....a black box. Anyways, I see your point though since they do it a lot, but if you watch they do make fun of many companys, and systems and what not.

As much as I love the N64, I don't really feel that it should be number 1.
