Hurricane Wilma is headed straight for my town. school is already scheduled to be closed Friday. i guess the storm is supposed to hit sometime between Saturday and Sunday. i probly won't be around for awhile, if it does hit me. last year the POWer was out for 6 days.

my mom said something about a guy she works with is probly going to come to out house with his girlfriend and 5 month old baby. she said he collects old video games too, so maybe that'll be cool.

Jeez, that blows. (I didn't mean that as a pun, it just came out.) I mean, what are you supposed to do for those? Head into a cellar, like with a tornado?

That really sucks. I'm sure though if anything really bad happens at least the government won't leave you guys high and dry (on your rooftops) because the world is watching.
Put your games in a ziplock bag (just in case, you never know). We can't afford anymore game deaths.
I think this weird weather is totally throwing off my weather. Not that I'm complaining, but where's the snow??? The day before yesterday it was 77 degrees out.

no cellars in Florida. we're too close to sea-level to have basements and cellars. you just gotta wait it out in your house.

i'm not sure if i'm gonna wait it out or not. i might go to my aunts house (in Miami) depending on how strong the storm is and where it's supposed to hit.

Hope all goes well man. Charging your SP is defenitly a good idea. When we had the ice storm where i lived we were out of POWer for over a week! And this was back in 02 also. I just played Spiderman on my gameboy color, oh how that sucked.

Get batteries, regulators, and other things so you can run all your game systems without an outlet... that is if you have a portable tv or something to that effect. Even if you have a generator, it's still a good idea, since everybody's probably going to want to plug something into it. That sucks that you have to go through a hurricane. I remember a few years ago, the POWer went out for a week near christmas back when I lived in CA. It turned back on right before we left to go on vacation.

I can only speak for myself, but I think everyone wants to see you missed by the hurricane.

well, the storm is now a category 2, and is supposed to make landfall sometime late tonight/early tomorrow. i think the worst that will happen is POWer will be knocked out for a few days. category 2's are nothing

i made it through the storm i'm not sure if anyone died or anything. i'm not even sure if anyone lived there or was home at the time. me and my mom walked down there while the storm was still over us. the wind kinda pushed us down the street, but walking back we had to go against the wind. i almost fell over a few times.

Kendall is located in Miami Dade County, on the edge of the Florida Everglades.

my aunt lives in Fort Lauderdale. that's pretty close to where you are. she said she could hear the wind knocking the tiles off her roof. i think they're still out of POWer.
