Don't you hate it when....

I was at this pawn shop I go to. And I asked "Can I have the keys to the NES case?" then the worker there said "Man why do you want those games" I looked at him like where have you been for the past 25 years? Then he said "The PS2 games are in this case get those insted!" I thought to my self man this guy is on crack!!!

Has this ever happen to you? like when you want to buy a Nes or game or Etc.. have they ever made fun of you?

I was at this one pawn shop here in town and asked if they had any NES Games and the old man goes, "NE what? We got Playstation 2, is that what you mean?"

I was at EBgames, and there were 2 workers. I bought a couple games since it was buy 2 get on free. I brought them to the counter, and the one guy said, "Wow, your behide in todays gaming". I said, "Some of these NES Games are way better than SOME of the crap they sell today". Then the other worker said, "Yea, I still have my NES in my basement Hooked up to my tv". This started all of us to get in a conversion. It ws kinda cool. Anyways, yea, I hate when that happens,

Yeah, i went to my EBgames before, and asked if they sold NES Games. the guy said almost resentfully, No, Sorry man. Then he said he still had his own private collection and stated that the old games are way harder than todays games.

I think old games are harder than ones today. Now days you can pick up "POWer ups" all over the place as where some older games they dont even have "POWer ups". In old games if you get hit, youre hit and theres no turning back. I love that. It makes the game alot harder and alot more fun 'cus you feel like "NO! I cant get hit, Im not even close to the boss yet, DAMN!"

I think they just really hate getting the key for the case, like it's just some big hassle.
The only place other than the thrift stores that sell NES Games in town is Gamecrazy and all the dudes there are Super Cool about things.

i work at a store that sells video games and i hate getting the key for little punks that go through the games. I went to a game store and asked if they have any super nintendo or nintendo and the guy looked at me like i was retarded. I never owned a system that operated of a disc. grey carts are were its at.

I think most of the people who make these remarks think they're being "funny" or they're just complete t******
It's never happened to me, although one worker gave me "props" for buying Duckhunt once.

i went to EB Games yesterday and got :

Top Gun (cart only)
Magic Darts (cart,manuel and NES brand sleeve)

I got them both for under $5 with my EB Savers card...or whatever it is...i get a discount on pre-played games. I asked the guy "hey are these the only NES Games you have ?" at first he just kinda looked at me like *ahh what should i say* then he said "ahh...yeah thats all we have, and i dont think we even take NES stuff anymore for trade in's" I then replied "ahh...ok" then i looked through the games...only seen like two or three that interested me...i ended up get those two games, they also had "Willow" i though about getting it but chose not to....

The EB Games store by my house has some dumb guys working there too...what is it with these kids

I was buying Shenmue a few months ago and the lady on the counter said "wow that's really retro". I told her it was the most modern game I'd bought in years! Maybe I should have told her the Dreamcast is still technically a current gen system.

Man I know how you feel about the Retro thing. I was at my school and I told my friends I got a Nes and they said "Wow man thats really old". I kind ofelt old right there! Its funny how my friends talk about the PS3 XBOX 360 and the Rev, and I keep talking about the older systems..Man I wish I was this age back in 1984.

I bought Need for Speed 3 fpr 7 dollars at Game Stop yesterday. The dude looked at my like I was crazy.

Today I went back there and bought more NES Games. then the same guy was there. He came up to me and send "Dude whats the deal?" and I said "what do you mean?" then he said "what do you do with those games?" then I said "I Play and Collect them!!!". He then told me he had Nes. But then he said times have changed and I should stay with the new systems! Then he started to make fun of me! he was like "I bet you the only one who still plays this crappy system". I said "You are the biggest Fanboy and such the hell up you don't know what your talking about!".

There was no need for that guy to be like that. In the same situation I would have ignored him. But if nessercary i'd have Byron and Keats waiting to throw down.

I don't really understand what the deal is. He's not a collector, he can't get past the graphics, and he isn't willing to delve into it. So, why the hell do you care what he thinks?
