I'm a NES ROMan Catholic and I have been wondering is there a God if so what would the Heaven and hell like? I found a site with info. I will but my Openion on each page about God an other matter.

i dont think its appropriate to ask about religious beleifs on a nintendo forum. many different answers, as there is a diverse community.Myself, i do believe there is.

This is the "Off Topic" area of a board. I think a community with a certain sense of anonymity mixed with an amount of comfort and familiarity is the perfect place to bring something like this up. Of course, that's assuming it doesn't turn into a flame war.

Hopefully the people around here are smart enough to realize that getting enraged about religion, politics, and sports over the internet is a waste of time and just makes everyone look stupid.

The way I see it, even if you do believe in evolution and scientific analysis (which I do), the fact remains that, even if life was created by a great number of chemical reactions, something had to have put the original reactants there in the first place. So yeah, I believe in God. However, I also feel that understanding a higher intelligence would be beyond our comprehension, so it's unfair to assume that every facet of just one religion would be completely accurate.

I once thought long and hard about this, and my head started to hurt... But I came up with the following: God could be an alien that used cloning to create us humans and UFOs are angels...ha I don't believe this but I'm sure some cult members somewhere do.

I used to be NES ROMan Catholic, hardcore. Now I'm athiest, hardcore. One of my biggest issues with those who try to prove faith was the whole idea of "You can't prove he doesn't exist". Declaring something true because it cannot be proven untrue is flawed reasoning, as if I were to say pink 5 legged unicorns were real. You could neither prove the existence or the lack thereof of them, yet better wits tell us that such things don't exist. Personally, I have no issue with religion, so long as it's not a substitute for scientific reasoning...or the creation of federal law.

Your going to get so many answers witch is why religion is HEAVILY frowned apon. Because one thing says do this its the right way and other says do this its the right way. It just gets stupid and ridiculous after while. But yes i belive there is a god up there but the way man does all this orginized relgion BS is stupid. This is why i hate organized religion you cannot prove witch way is right and what not. But i do belive in god espcially after some near death experinces i have read and heard about.
