I was wondering how people make GIFs. Is there a program for that?

I think your question should be, how do you make animated gifs.

For a normal gif you only use "save as gif" when you are using picture editing software.

For making animated gifs I use "Animation Shop" that comes with "Paint Shop Pro".

I use Adobe Photoshop CS2 with ImageReady to make animated GIFs.

I use the same as Mr. DNA, though he is one step ahead of me... my version is CS. It took me a while to start understanding how to use it, but after awhile I started to understand alot of it. That and ZHX is always cool enough to help me when I'm a bit confused
