~~Movie Thread~~
Here we go. I thread that you can talk about a movie you saw, and say what you thought of it. Also, talk about upcoming movies, or even talk about older movies. (also, if you talk about a newer movie, please put long spaces, and post *Spoiler*)
So, I'll start it off. What did you guys (and girls) think about
Batman Begins. I thought it was done very well, and a great way to start the series over again fresh.
I will now write about my favourite movie.
It's over two hours long.
It has only about 40 minutes of dialogue.
The first line of dialogue is spoken by a stewardess, 25 minutes and 38 seconds into the film.
It was revolutionary.
It was made in 1968.
It looks like a very high-budget movie from the late 80s-early 90s.
It has been parodied countless times.
It has been parodied many times by the Simpsons alone.
It broke the mold of "spaghetti western" style sci-fi by being serious, and above all, physically accurate.
It has been reported to have influenced the design of early NASA shuttles.
It was loosely based off Arthur C. Clarke's "The Sentinel".
Stanley Kubrick wrote the screenplay while Clarke wrote the book.
They discussed eachothers' work throughout the writing process.
It is #22 on the American Film Institute's (AFI) list of the top 100 movies of all time.
"Open the pod bay doors, HAL." is #78 on the AFIs list of top 100 movie quotes of all time.
It's 2001: A Space Odyssey and if you have never seen it, watch it at your earliest convenience. And while you are watching it, think of the things I wrote in the sentences above.
Simply incredible.
Yeah, Kubrick was great in everything he did. Anyone here seen Tarkovsky's "stalker"?
nope haven't seen Stalker or
Batman Begins.
but I would like to see SIlent Hill whenever that comesout, it isn't gonna be perfect so don't complain.(oh yeah I got that Graphic Novel, it rocks)
this was a good idea. they should "sticky" it. (they=the mods) Im a big
Batman nut. Im even getting a
Batman tattoo in a few months. anyways, I dont think the new
Batman movie should be what happens before the first
Batman movie that came out in 1989 with Jack Nicholson and Michael Keaton because nothing in the new one even leads into the 1989 one. (I went and got my
Batman movie collection out. lol) and this might be a spoiler so if you dont want to know stop reading now... okay, you must wanna know. in the new
Batman, its set in today times. I mean, christ, the ppl where all walking around with tiny cell phones. the 1989
Batman movie took place when?! oh my, take a wild guess?! 1989! meaning no '04 and '03 cars and ppl with verizon wireless cell phones. so unless
Batman some how discovered time travel in his bat cave this doesnt add up. that is ONE, just ONE, of MANY things that dont add up. Im-a-
Batman-nut
speaking of comic book heroes: any of you guys heard of Troma Inc.? These guys can make movies. Their flagship movie: the Toxic Avenger ( an R-rated horror comedy film which I've previously mentioned) is their most famous. They even spawned a cartoon (with NES Game) The Toxic Crusaders!
The older movies I'd most recommend are the whole Clint Eastwood spaghetti western series, especially the Good,The Bad and the Ugly. A lot of younger viewers are probably gonna think "hmmm..westerns, boring", but the movies transcend the whole atmosphere of the west into something I personally could watch a million times over. There's something about the whole "man with no name" charachter that just grabs you, it's the whole quiet nature of the guy and the ruthless violence he deals out at a heartbeat. I think if you've had a bad day...these movies rule, you'll feel better within minutes of putting them in.
Next would be all the old Vincent Price horror movies. I feel he is quite overlooked today. The creepy atmosphere he could create with but a look is unmatchable. If your a fan of horror movies that are the non-gory type, built on plot instead of sliced-up people then you can't go wrong with something like House on Haunted Hill or Masque of the Red Death.
EvilNes:
Have you ever seen Teenage Cat Girls In Heat? (it's by Troma movies). I know what the rest of you are thinking, it's . It's just a really horribly made movie. The girls are so far from looking teenage it's rediculous. I guess 35 is the new 16.
To Everyone Else:
As a movie recommendation I recommend....
Cannibal : The Musical
It's Trey Parker's first movie (when he was known as Juan Schwartz). It's great. I have all the songs on my MP3 player! Here's a little sampling of his musical genius...
From the song:
That's All I'm Asking For
I know that there's more to life than women.
I just can't seem to figure out what else there is.
I don't need it every night, every morning would be just fine.
A little sex, that's all I'm askin' for.
That's all I'm askin' for!
That's all he's askin' for!
Something I can test, a gal would suit me best.
I got a thing to use, I know what to use it for.
A girl I can love, and kiss, and hold, and fu...
That's all I'm askin' for!
Has anyone seen the Mortal Kombat movie. I mean, it wasn't the best movie, but compared to like "
Double Dragon Movies" its a good movie.
yeah mortal kombat was pretty good, and so was Cannibal, I only saw a little bit
I'll have to watch
Batman Begins sometime together with my wife, because Ken Watanabe, a Japanese actor she likes very much is playing a bad guy in there.
The last movies I saw and can recommend are Episode 3 That movie's so stupid, it's becoming good again.
I know this movie is old, but has anyone seen "The Hours"? My bro. let me see it, and I though that was a great great movie. Anyone seen it?
The Hours sounds familiar...can't place it at the moment. House of Flying Daggers was awesome I thought. Cool effects, charachters, scenery and great story. The fact it had some really hot oriental women in it was good too....
lol. Thats nice.
Also, did anyone see War of the Worlds. I saw it, and it was good, but it wasn't "the best" movie.
I have definitely to see that. The DVD will be out on Monday in Germany. Probably I'll get it when the price drops a bit.
Manuel..you'll love it! I found it much better than Hero or Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. The scenery espeacially is so awesome...there's one scene where autumn changes to winter during a battle and...well, no spoilers. It's just a really well-made movie that will invoke every emotion, that's the best way to put it.
I might as well make some reccomendations.
THE WILD ONE
Classic film starring a young Marlon Brando as a leader of a motorcycle gang which invades a small town.
A CLOCKWORK ORANGE
Based on Anthony Burgess' book and one of the better book to film adaptations. Kubrick's direction is as spot on as ever.
CITY OF GOD
True story of a young man growing up in the notorious slums of Rio de Janiero.
ONCE UPON A TIME IN AMERICA
Classic gangster (not the usual mindless violence film) film starring De Niro.
MIDNIGHT COWBOY
Small time conman (Dustin Hoffman) teams up with a naive "cowboy" (Jon Voight) who is convinced he's the salvation of many old new york spinsters.
LA HAINE
Set in the slums of Paris, it deals with France's intolerance to outsiders.
Other reccomendations-
can't be bothered going into detail
STRAY DOG
SEVEN SAMURAI
Batman (the one with adam west - pure hilarity)
Any Humphry Bogart film.
I'll shut up now.
This thread is now stickied. So if you want to talk about movies, do it here.
Has anyone seen Eragon? If so, what were your thoughts on it?
Oh ya, I forgot to repost that I watched it. Ending pissed me off, story could have been better, and the cast wasn't great either. The dragon stuff was bad-ass though
Overall a 7.5

The only part of the movie I liked was the Dragon Stuff.
Lots of Movies that I want to see are coming soon such as:
Grindhouse, Pathfinder, Spiderman 3, Transformers, Simpsons Movie, Fantastic 4 rise of the
Silver Surfer.
I'm also looking forward to the Simpsons movie.
I hope it's good and they bring the DVD out soon.
I wonder if there will be a "game to the movie"?

I wonder if there will be a "game to the movie"?
We've had how many games based on the TV show?
You really think someone is going to miss the opportunity to cash in on a MOVIE?
I see now I chose the wrong smiley in my post.
It should be
I *think* I'm actually looking forward to the game to the movie in this case.
I'm a real Simpsons nut and happened to enjoy the two games on the last gen consoles.

I'm a real Simpsons nut and happened to enjoy the two games on the last gen consoles.
I enjoyed Hit and Run, I hear Road Rage was kinda crap though.
Well, Road Rash wasn't exactly a great game, but not crap also. I guess I enjoyed it so much because it was a Simpsons game. The voices were all original and the in-game jokes and stuff (references to the series) was hilarious.
It's fun for some hours.
Ht n' Run is an excellent game, but the replay value is non existent. I was addicted to it for the first 8 hours I played it.
I'll be checking out the game if there is one too.
Just got back from seeing Dead Silence with a bunch of friends. The Movie sucked.
Just came back from "The Number 23", starring Jim Carrey. A psychological movie at its best. I found myself in this movie, in the head of the main character. It was a dark, mysterious film that leaves you with philosophical thoughts about life and death, fate and coincidence.
A terrific film, haven't seen anything quite like it since "The Butterfly Effect". Strongly recommend everyone to see it.
That's a movie I was interested in.
I'll take your recommendation and watch it on DVD later, since it's not been shown in our cinema.
Yeah, you should definetly see it.
Watching it on DVD is not bad at all, just make sure that the room is completely dark, and that it's very silent. It was weird seeing Jim Carrey in such a different category, but I must say that he masters it very well.
By the way, manuel, I reckon that you'll be seeing "The Simpsons Movie" that's coming around july, am I right? Man, I love "The Simpsons", greatest cult cartoon show ever made!

You just made my want to see this movie like... 100x worse. If it is comparable to the feeling you get when watching Butterfly Effect for the first time, then wow am I looking forward to this one.
Might have to go against my nature and acquire this one earlier than allowed
Of course I'm going to see the Simpsons movie. If they don't show it here I'll even drive to a cinema where it's shown.
July 27 is still so far away though...
The Simpsons Movie is the first film I have looked forward to seeing in a good long time. I'm going to go opening night, possibly dressed as Mr Burns (for no reason) and i'm actually prepared to pay the high ticket prices to see it. the last film I saw at the cinema was Casino Royale and that was December, there's not really been anything I wanted to see lately. I quite wanted to see the science of sleep but it wasn't on locally.
Spider-Man 3 comes out on May 4. I am seeing it the first night for sure.
Anyone see GrindHouse yet? I really want to see it.
I saw
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles tonight, and wow was it a disappointment. I was expecting some awesomely dark turtle action, instead it was an extended Saturday morning cartoon... weak. The only thing dark about this movie was the lighting in the theatre, I almost wanted to ask for our $4 back
And for the record, Leo did not get his ass kicked by Ralph on the roof... not even close.

Good one, Luke.
Ralph would have owned Leo, no doubt.
That one made my day.
Ralph.
And 4$ for a movie seems very cheap. Is that some small backstreet cinema or something?
Its a "3 dollar theatre". They play movies after they leave the big cinema here... Weekdays are only $2 / person, Wednesday's are free popcorn as well.
That's nice.
With such prices I'd watch movies more often.
I always go to a cinema called "Cinema" (sic! ) in Munich. They show original versions of the movies and admission is 5 Euros if you watch a movie before 5 p.m. That's ok for me. That's also where I plan to watch the Simpsons movie. Don't want to watch the German dub.
Since they buit the new theatre in my town, the old one in the mall is no longer $7.50 but $4.99 all day. But the one in the mall doesn't get new Movies for along time.
Kind of the same thing here, the cheap theater used to be the expensive one. Now we have a brand new one in the mall, and its almost $10 / person
Not all movies make it to the cheap one either (300 did however, but I missed it by one day ).
Just got back from seeing Disturbia. It was really good.
Lots of Movies I want to see in 2007. I just found out that there is a sequel to 28 days later coming out called "28 weeks Later". Also a poster with the same logo as Full Metal Jacket but with the name "Delta Force" on it. Spider-Man 3 is the next film I will see. And then Simpson's Movie and then Transformers.
OK, I watched "Pulp Fiction" yesterday, and I felt the need to tell what I felt about it.
It was pretty good, very unorthodox, but there's a movie directed by Quentin Tarantino for you. The movie shows you the lives of different people, that are all in some way connected to each other in the end. This takes placed in an enviroment that is filled with organized crime, and corruption.
The movie didn't have a plot in particular, it was more like just a random tale of criminals and petty thugs. I found it entertaining, but I think it would be a bold statement to call it a "must see", since this movie is definetly not for everybody.
Spider-Man 3 premiered today, and I went with a buddy to see it. I think this one totally beated the crap out of the second one, and the first one couldn't even compare. It was loaded with entertainment, and so many villains from the comic books. All I have to say is, go see it, it'll be worth your money!
My friends and I have plans to see that tomorrow.
I really hope it's good.
I am going tonight, if it is not sold out. I have high hopes for this movie, I loved the first, second, and hopefully I'll love the third.
I just saw Spider-man 3 twice. First was right after school. Then my friend came over to my house asking if I wanted to see it...So I saw it one more time. Anyways to be honest it was bad. They screwed up Venom big time.
I saw it as well. Wasn't all too impressed with it, alot of sappy side story. I don't want to say too much or I'll spoil it, but if you get the chance it is worth seeing.
OK, now I don't want to spoil the movie for those of you who haven't seen it, but for those of you that have, don't you think Peter Parker kinda looked like an "emo-kid" when he's all bad?
Peter did look very "emo"
I could have sworn there was a bit of "Broke-Back Spider-man" in there aswell.
But ya they made it seem like a comedy. The ending sucked big time.
I just came back from watching "Spiderman 3". I liked it.
And now I know what you meant with looking "emo".
But that was funny!
Shrek the Third, Somehow, they pulled it off. they managed to abandon everything that made Shrek and Shrek 2 so darn funny.
Saw it last night and, sweet fancy moses was it awful. It started of stumbling on itself. It's as if someone on the writing team thought "I've an idea. Let's make it slow paced, lacking of any quick-wit, add in some long set-ups with no payoff, make Donkey and Puss afterthoughts, completely forget how a movie is supposed to flow, and just kindof jumble together a plot with no feeling of atmosphere or creativity."
Then someone responded "Brilliant!"
Geh. I just keep thinking of moments in Shrek 2 that were so fantastic and then how Shrek the Third had none of it.
Seriously, I can't even fully explain what was wrong with the movie because I can't describe it in words. Okay: it had no feeling of structure. The plot, the characters, even the sets were uninspired and felt crumbled. It felt like the whole movie was ad-libbed.
Too mad. Can't write anymore. Maybe someone else can form my feelings into words.
Pleh.
I forgot to add the Source and Quotes, The user has pretty darn good reviews and hell I agree with him for the most part. Next time I will make sure I have correct and not missing anything
Aaron, I totally and utterly agree with you. That movie was a shame for everything that has anything to do with animation. I can't explain what was so wrong with it either, it kind of drifted away from the two first ones, and the picture was just really weird and uncomfortable.
Frankly, I can't understand why Mike Myers took the role as Shrek in the first place...
Thanks for the warning, guys.
I think I'll reconsider seeing that in the movies.
I think I'll steer clear of it as well. Even though I loved the first two and can't imagine they messed it up that bad.
Fantastic Four: Rise Of The
Silver Surfer: They kept the film very close to the Ultimate's version. I enjoyed the film. Worth seeing.
Evan Almighty: I thought it wasn't funny at all. Steve Carell least funny movie IMO. The Movie was big on special effects but short on laughs.

Say it isn't so.
Looks like he's on the long painful road of selling out. The commercials for Evan Almighty seemed lame to me, I really like Carell..
I just watched "Hot Fuzz" wasn't funny at all. I mean, it's kinda alright to watch as a film, but not as a comedy...
I liked Steve Carrel in anchorman, that was actually funny, as opposed to the aformentioned piece
Came home from "Death Proof" yesterday. I just have to say that Quentin Tarantino has done it again.
Has anybody seen the new Harry Potter already?
I think I will go see it tonight (but only if there aren't too many people in line).
I haven't seen it, as I don't care for the books or the two films i've seen, but it's supposed to be the best of the series yet and has been getting 4 out of 5 in the reviews of it I have seen.
Going to see "Transformers" at the local cinema tomorrow. I didn't grow up in the 80's, but it was broadcast in the 90's as well, so I did watch the cartoon series.
i went to it..
very disappointing.
Is that right? Well, I'll just have to see for myself, it's for nostalgia reasons you see. The "
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" movie wasn't a masterpiece either, but it was Ninja Turtles, so I enjoyed it.
Has anybody seen the new Harry Potter already?
I think I will go see it tonight (but only if there aren't too many people in line).
I went and saw it Manuel. It was pretty good, I must say : ) I didn't get bored at all, so that's pretty much what counts in my book.
We wanted to go yesterday, but the line was so long that we decided to wait another week or two.
For me it's also important if it's boring or not. It's really all that counts.
Thanks for the input.
Saw "Transformers" today. I wasn't disappointed at all. I got goosebumps when Optimus Prime was revealed in the movie.
Having Shia LaBeouf to play Spike Witwicky (Sam Witwicky in the movie) was a good choice in my opinion. He's such a good actor. You might remember him as Constantine's sidekick, Chas Kramer.
The other cast members were OK, didn't really focus on them though (maybe because the movie is set on giant robots from another planet).
In any case, I'm glad this motion picture of old heroes turned out well. It's cool that they decide to make a live motion picture about all the big superheros now days. Like Spider-Man, X-Men, The Hulk etc. Just as I'm at the best age to see it.
Up untill now the only disappointment I've had with one of the superhero movies is the movie about "Fantastic 4". That honestly did suck. I didn't exactly catch every comic book or watched the cartoons of them, but I got the gist of it. Let's just hope the sequel featuring
Silver Surfer will be good.
both prime and starscream were disappointing.
primes mask thing is up for a total 6 seconds in the movie.
i dont like shia.
I went and saw Transformers last night. It was not even CLOSE to a disappointment. I thought it was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. Don't really want to get into detail on it (I hate spoilers) but I give the movie 10/10.
That Shia LaBeouf is a great upcoming actor, I don't really remember much of Transformers from my childhood so I can't really judge his interpretation of Spike Witwicky. I saw Disturbia a while ago and I think he was the only reason the movie was somewhat good. Can't remember what else he is in, but I do know that I will probably see any movie that he is in, no matter how bad/good I hear it is.
I didn't think it was all that bad Wasn't great by any means, but not horrible.
Silver Surfer is a couple steps better, but still not an amazing movie.
I agree with you on a lot of your opinions there, logandbz. As I said, the "Transformers" movie wasn't bad at all.
By the way, I never congratulated you, because you're a father now right? I'm very late out to point it out, I know...
Haha about a year too late but thank you anyway. Being a father is great, and I wouldn't trade it for the world.
I watched "Top Secret" not so long ago. Very funny film, a good mix of visual and verbal comedy, with a few "clever" jokes thrown in. I believe it's by the airplane creators. I definately recommend this.
I also saw "freddy got fingered" - that was crap.
"Intolerble Cruelty" was also pretty lame, except the first five minutes. I can't believe the Cohen brothers did this. I guess it would be alright to watch to kill some time.
All i've done since wimbledon ended is watch films and play video games. Quite sad, but the weather is really crap right now.
Tomorrow is the premiere day for "Simpsons: The Movie" at the local cinema, and I've got tickets. I was pretty early out today to get them. I'll be telling you how it is if you haven't seen it after it is done tomorrow. There will be no spoilers, of course.
I'm wanting to see it also. But I'm worried it will be a crappy episode drawn out to 87 minute's. But I have a theory: All the talented writers from the show were shifted to working on the movie. (That's what I'm hoping anyways.)
I'm hoping for something like that as well, figg muffins.
Judging by the previews it seems like they've gone in the Family Guy-wannabe direction once again, the Simpsons used to be a funny show with witty jokes, and now we get "spider pig.. spider pig.. does whatever a spider-pig does"
If you went to see Transformers in theater, you may have seen the amazing trailer for the 1-18-08 monster movie.
Codename "Cloverfield" is produced by J.J. Abrahms, the Lost guy. That may be why the viral marketing and trailer are so confusing and mysterious. They say the creature is called the Parasite but most disregard this as another codename.
Some people think it is a
Godzilla or Gamera movie. Other say Voltron or Astroboy, and others still think it is based on the Nine Inch Nail's Year Zero ablum because it is marketed by 42 Entertainment like Year Zero...unlikely.
The theory I want to believe the most is that the creature is Cthulhu from H.P. Lovecraft's classic short story "The Call Of Cthulhu."
You can try to figure out more for yourself at ethanhaaswasright.com. Good luck.
its voltron.
I saw this when I went to Transformers, and I gotta say it really got me intrigued.
There is almost 0 clues as to what this movie is, so your basically just throwing random guesses out there.
except
"IT LOOKS LIKE A LION!!!"
or something to that extent.
except
"IT LOOKS LIKE A LION!!!"
or something to that extent.
Alive... not, "a lion," the character says the word "alive."
But yeah, the movie looks pretty interesting. I'll have to keep track of this one.
I want to see Sunshine. That one looks really good.

i was corrected with those same words once....but then again, that person was corrected by someone else, saying that i was right in the first place.
i think its a lion.
Well, today I will finally watch Harry Potter 5.
The Simpsons movie starts next week in our crappy little cinema.
Well, I saw "Simpsons: The Movie" today, and I promised a little review.
Well, I have to say, it was awesome. I laughed so hard during this movie. I didn't feel like it was an extended episode at all. It was a movie, end of story.
Now, they took some chances... I don't want to spoil anything, so read at your own risk, but you actually see a penis in this one.
Anyway, see it at your local cinema with a live audience. I tell you everyone in the room started laughing at every single joke. Sure, like OGTL mentioned, there was a little "Family Guy" stuff in there with the whole "Spider-Pig" thing, but good all the same.
All I have to say is that you should see it.
Nice. Thanks for the review. I will definitely watch it. Probably in 2 weeks.
Today I saw Harry Potter 5, and it was good. The fighting scenes were nice.
I watched 1408 last night.
It was awful, especially to go pay to see in the theater. I would only recommend renting this if you have no other movie in mind.
The preview for 1408 I saw looked promising, but is it so bad?
Yes.
I thought it was horrible, but everyone has different tastes.
I guess I'll have a look at it as soon as there's a *cough* *cough*...
I couldn't resist and went to see the Simpsons movie without my friends. I just couldn't wait 2 weeks longer.
I must say it was nice. The animation was far superior to the series and some jokes really made me laugh hard. All in all I can recommend it.
Now I want to see season 19.

I also enjoyed the Movie. I'm also looking forward to season 19. Is that the last season Manuel?
Ned: The Good Lord is telling me to confess to something...
Homer *crossing fingers and praying*: Gay Gay Gay Gay Gay Gay
Ralph after Bart goes by naked on the skateboard: I like men now!
I don't think this will be the last season, but you never know, right?
Well, I heard a rumour that said that the
Goal was going to be 19, but they didn't say anything about quitting after that, I belive, it was just their
Goal. Seriously, if they're going to quit, it'd be perfect if they sealed the deal with 20 seasons. A nice round number.
"You know when the Girl says, oh God I had too much to drink last night." "I shouldn't have slept with that guy." "We could be that mistake!!"
I want to see SuperBad, How about you?
same.
"Oh man, there she is"
"I heard she got a breast reduction"
"WHAT? thats like slapping god across the face!"
"Dude she had back problems!"
Is anybody here planning on seeing the new Studio Ghibli film, "Tales from Earthsea"?
I watched it (in Japanese of course) and, well, there are better Ghibli movies, but it's definitely not bad. If you're a Ghibli fan it's an enjoyable movie worth its admission fee.
SuperBad, one of the funniest films I ever seen, I loved it. Along with Transformers, Superbad both get my vote for best films of the year.
Just for the record were you one of the 8%?
i went to superbad.
much dirtier that i thought.
i went to superbad.
much dirtier that i thought.
Still amazing none the less.
Did anybody watch Rush Hour 3 yet? I so much want to see it, but our cinema won't show it.
I've seen it, it's pretty decent. The 2nd one is the best so far IMO. I'm really looking forward to Rob"White"Zombie's version of Halloween, I love horror movies.
I saw Superbad, I think there was a little too much vulgarity and it didn't live up to it's hype.. but pretty good movie. McLovin pwns.
Are you glad he chose McLovin? Or would you rather of him chose Mohommed?
"Eww you have Period blood on your pants!"
yucky.
Just got back from seeing Chuck&Larry, I really enjoyed the movie. Kevin James is a comic genius.
Yes.
I thought it was horrible, but everyone has different tastes.
Tastes ARE really different.
I watched 1408 yesterday night with friends and I liked it. I even consider buying the DVD to see that ominous alternate ending.

Glad you liked it.
I went and saw Super Bad tonight. I thought it was a pretty damn funny movie. Had its low points, but it was still a good movie. Buy worthy.
Across the Universe:
One of the best movies I've . I was singing along with most of The Beatles songs. I was the only one there but everyone missed out. I'm so buying this on DVD when it comes out. I could so relate with this movie, I loved every minute of it.
I watched Ratatouille the last day and liked it.
I think I'll get the DVD or maybe even the BluRay version when I'm in Japan.
Well, decided to try something a little more foreign. I watched "Volver", and I thought it was an excellent piece of work. It might be a little dull to someone, but if you are interested in film and are capable of watching a drama, then I'd say you should see it.
