I'd like to see that movie, but it's hard to find.

Way back on page 4 in the off-topic section there's a poll on whether you would like to see Wizard 2 or not and there's also a discussion about the first one. Read through it, it's fun.

I rented that movie about 6 months ago or something.

I liked the movie when I first saw it, and I still liked to watch it. I do want to know how the heck that kid was supposed to have gotten through Ninja Gaiden without getting hit, though! Ha! How to destroy the Demon's head with your sword and not get hit when it rolls at you .... hmmm... Not sure. Hollywood.

I remember when I was a kid I always thought Fred Savage was cool... hmmm.... Then I got older and realized that he's a horrible actor.

Ooh gosh. I remember this. Hopefully there'll be a fancy 60 disc box set limited edition directors cut edition out on dvd soon. Hehe.

I could seed it, but I'm only online with my computer some hours a day and only on the weekends (Mo-Fr I use University pcs). And I have a crappy upload. It would take months to get it from me now.

As OneGenerationTooLate already stated the only official release on DVD was published in Germany.
I'm not 100% sure though. There could have been a small label which marketed it in the UK or so.

Yes it is a fake, it was 10 pounds, so quite cheap. It's nice looking as well.

It came today, the actual picture quality isn't to good, but the packaging is quite good (even though it's in a green xbox style case) I'll try to post pictures later.

The Wizard is by far one of my most favorite movies, i own it on VHS i won an auction for it off ebay about a year or so ago...i think it was like $25 for it. Movie is awesome ....soon i hope to buy a DVD Recorder and i will be transfering it to DVD with a nice menu...sadly the only country that has it on a real DVD release is Germany i think its a region two dvd....i really wish they would release it on dvd.

I found a torrent of this, once its done I can make DVDs, but it ain't gonna be free. I figure a decent trade individually would be a cruddy dupe, I ain't out to rip people off, but the act of encoding, burning, getting discs, and sending individual postage with every single DVD takes a lot of time and effort. I gotta find cases and envelopes that'll handle the disc without it getting killed in the mail...I'll repost if/when this thing is finished. Feel free to PM me if you are interested, so I can figure out how much of what to get.

Yeah I got it and for a pirate thought it was very good quality so thanks for the recommendation David. The packaging is nearly as good as any official DVD. The only problem with the film itself is that it skips a couple of seconds every so often, but that only happens about 3 or 4 times so no big problem. As for the film itself, I had never seen it before but it really lived up to all the hype. A nes fans dream! I've only watched it once so far. I need to see it again. So funny.

you should try those AOL disc cases that come in the mail. my mail box gets gang-banged by them about once a month. 90% of the time i through the disc out and keep the case.

This is, without a doubt,
I remember first seeing this in the theater! This, as I remember, was our first glimpse of SMB3. I had to have the game after seeing the movie (well, I probably would have bought it anyway), seeing that it was a vast improvement over SMB2.
I've seen this movie recently on TV more than I've seen copies of a videotape...a DVD must have, for sure.
