We've heard a rumour that the Internet Channel on Wii will launch on the 23rd of December, just in time for Christmas.

Even thought the console ships with a "lite" version of Opera (the Wii Shop uses this) the general Internet Channel isn't yet live.

The good folk over at Wii Spin have received word that the software will become available later this month, at least in Sweden.






I can't wait for the Lanuch of the Opera Browser for the Wii. I heard you could play flash games and watch Online vids also!

I also heard that flash videos (yay youtube!) and flash games are possible.

I hope they'll release Opera quick. I want to try at least.

Will there be a fee like monthly for using the browser?

It will be Free to Own/download till July, then after that people who wish to own it must pay.
