In Metal Gear

I just bought Metal Gear solid 3: Snake eater. And i got a piggyback walkthrough guide with it for only $20 (10% off) And my god! What a brilliant game! Ive played all the other Metal Gear solids ( havent played MSX or Nes though), but wow! What an awesome game! i died 5 times in 10 mins (rolled off the first screen off a cliff without paying attention ) And can ya tell me, The mask he's wearing, does that look like raiden? And the name Jack? Seem familiar?

Yes, it's intended as a joke. It's pretty good one too, considering that alot of people seemed to not like Raiden. I never had a problem with the character, but some did. A Raiden look-a-like will pop-up later, too. Keep playing!

Also, at the beginning of the game, if you select, "I like MGS 1!," you won't get the Raiden face at the beginning. Really funny stuff!

I just beat the Virtous mission and that stupid Boss! She broke my new shiny handgun! But now i must buy Mgs 2 substance.. i only played it when i hired it.. still finished it. Are there any hints at a new Metal Gear game? (apart from acid, coz that looks kind of fruity)

There've been hints about a part four, but nothing yet. Once again, he says he's not going to work on it. Hopefully the same thing happens that happened with the third one!

You're lucky that you live in Australia... Kojima has hinted at not releasing it in the states.

Which I can't really say I agree with... they just picked a bad time to release MGS 3, and they're interpreting that as nobody liked it. It was overshadowed by Half Life 2, Halo 2, GTA:SA... and people do have limited budgets, publishers have to keep this in mind... Those 4 games would have all been likely $80 (CDN) each after tax, that's a lot of money...

Problem is, by the time people had gotten bored of the ones they bought, they had forgotten about MGS3, and had a whole new set of games to be excited about. I see no reason North America should be punished because of stupidity on the part of Konami... and well.... most of north america, because the morons bought Halo 2, and GTA:SA...

I hope there is a 4.. 3 is a really cool game. Ah, my far away country that normaly gets crap releases might be useful... As long as MGS 4 doesnt decide to become like Snakes Revenge (AWEFUL GAME! Snake wears an ORANGE suit for sneaking around in, and enemies are purple!) it will all be cool.

I can't really remember if I already knew that, but now I know for sure Good to see that he can't keep away from designing it, because I feel he does an excellent job. I'd hate for someone to come in and butcher the whole feel of Metal Gear.

This game looks sooo good. This game would be one of the reasons for me ever getting a PS2.

^I know what you mean. The reason my friend got a PS2 was the MGS series. HE just beat MGS 3. He's waiting, and saving money for 4.

The only problem is... it's on the PS3 It sucks that I'm gonna hafta wait for price drops to get the system. I'll probably purchase the game before the system again.. .to make sure I have it when it's no longer in stores.

i understand that the PS3 is gonna be on sale for $500 when it comes out, so i agree, we DO have to wait until prices drop.

Well thats why I said hes saving. Things are just becoming too expensive these days.
