I decided to do a repaint of the NES I'm modifying. Here are the pics.

Did you colour the top half, with a permanent marker, as the first photograph suggests?

If so, im sure spraypaint will do 20x better. The quality doesnt look so good but keep posting those pics.

Actually I did spray paint it. I used the marker only as a touch up. The Paint was almost out so I didn't get an even spray. I'm lucky I had enough to finish the top at alll. Maybe a more glossy black paint would do better. This was more flat black.

you could also try ptting a white base cote on but i think its a little late now

I did have some blue out there I could have used as primer. But the paint can said it was for plastic and there was no need for primer. Still, my camera isn't the best in the world. It doesn't look so terrible in person.
Plus I had to spray the heck out of the door because the paint just didn't want to cover up the red letters.

Yeah id just suggest getting a new can and doing a few more layers. Should come out pretty good.
