Yesterday i got three NES system and a bunch of games from my cousins.
I was happy getting all these stuff for free and i asumed that atleast one of them would work. BUT, to my great disapointment none of them would even start up. Not a single indication of POWer running through the system. I don´t know much about these machines so I don´t know if it´s a big problem. Therefore im asking you, fellow NES friends. Could it just be a common failure and maybe easy to fix or should i put them in the garbages right away?

It could of course be the Ac adapter that´s malfunction but i have no possibility to test that.

try changing outlets. If that doesnt work, find any adapter, with the same plug as the NES one. (Should find one, on Phone, SNES, Etc.) And try that. If nothing works, you can sell the broken ones for quite a bit on ebay. Each broken system goes for like 10.00 without shipping on there.

I don't know what's wrong (I don't have a head for all this technical stuff) but you say all three aren't working? Is it just the one AC Adaptor?

I´ve tryed several diffrent outlets, all dead.

yea exactly, just got one ac adapter for the three systems.

I`ll try to find another AC, and try with that one.

great, glad you got it working. Chuck the faulty AC, and make sure the voltage on your current Adapter is within 2 Volts of the Original POWer supply.
