Series Marathon stats Monday, July 16th
Hey all, just figured I'd post this. Me and some buddies are meeting up at my place between our work schedules and doing our best to beat some game series. It's planned to go on for about ten days, and hopefully it'll be enough time for everyone to finish up. If any of us finish early, we have some extra credit stuff to keep it going and involved. To keep people straight, I'll use their aliases to keep them in order.

We still have room for two more people yet. So far, the only thing we have down for background noise at the moment is Snuff Box and The Mighty Boosh (Two great dead British series), maybe throw in some Trailer Park Boys or some such.
The focus of this is to try to play as many of these games on their original console as possible, however when need be, we will use emulators. So far, the only game that seems to be an issue is for me to find Wind Waker, as no one I know has it right now. Should have a copy come the 16th though.
I'll try to post at least daily to update everyone's status in some way. Hopefully this thing will end up being a great success, or at least a good time.
You want to BEAT all those games in 10 days? ... Isn't that impossible?
Just playing some hours into each sounds more like it.
You definitely need to get Wind Waker. One of the best games in the series.
why would snakes revenge be on the list at all?
Yea, I figure I'll rent Wind Waker if need be, but rentals...ick. Gotta count on it actually being there, actually working all the way through, and I'd have to set up an account. Anywho, added info on our fifth player, got one guy interested but he doesn't know what series to do, possibly Soul Calibur.
And to reply to Suber
Metroid...Snake's Revenge is there for the same reason the CD-i
Zelda's are on the bonuses. Because they're the closest thing to more games in the series.
Sounds like one helluva fun and time-consuming project. Good luck with it.
