Most Disappointing Games
What is the most disappointing game you've ever played? I'd say Samurai Champloo: Sidetracked.
Mario 64.... i didn't think it was nearly as good as everyone made it out to be. quite frankly, i think it's a bad Mario game.
For NES, I'd say Super Pitfall. Horrible, glitchy mess.
Digimon World for PS1.
Halo 2, it got way too much hype.
Even Halo 1 was the same. I felt the same for both games.
Pikmin. I was looking forward to it thanks to loads of good reviews but then I couldn't really get into it.
Rune: Viking Warlords
Ping Pals. I was mislead about what the hell you could do on that game. I was told that there was the ability to buy any piece of clothing you want... as well as hack into nearby DS's. Apparently it is just the ultimate dress-up game where you can buy about 5 pieces of crap per day. Yeah. That's $14 and 5 hours of my life I will not be getting back. Shoot this crap game in the head.
And if we're just talking NES...
Dragon Spirit.
Xevious with some sort of Fantasy twist apparently.
You don't like
Dragon Spirit?!
But...
POWerups change your dragon's color! And number of heads!
yeah
Dragon Spirit wasn't that bad I think....I wasn't aware it was on the Nes...just tried the arcade version...
The worst Nes game I have encountered definetly has to be Deadly Towers...gee that game sucked..

That list looks about right except the fact tha Bible Adventures is there. I like that game.
I like that game.
But
Xenophobe should have been 1/3 worst, that game is a fucking black mark on human creation
Another game I could never really get into was, Animal Crossing. I just played it because it was a huge game. But the voices drove me mad.
Uhh... I hope you mean the voices in the game
If so, that is easily fixed by using the volume button(s).
I actually liked that game. I just can't play it hours upon hours. Still fun to own, especially if you have wifi access.
Here is another bad game:
Sonic Riders! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Uhh... I hope you mean the voices in the game

That, or changing the settings from "animalese" that other one, or silence.
I just always played it on "mute". I liked to whole shopping part of the game (and writting dirty letters to neighbors I hated).
The legend of
Zelda.....hahaha no...great game.
Lunar Dragon song....Horrible compared to the other LUNAR games.
Metroid Fusion...Good game...coulda been much better.

Man you have a weird since of humor. . And which
Zelda game were you talking about? If they were for the CD-i then yes those ones were Crap no crap is to nice of a word for those CD-i games.
Joo got some 'splanin' to do, Lucy.
should of been called
Metroid conFusion
i thought it was a good game, i've deffinatly been more dissappointed *cough*
Metroid Prime *cough* excuse me.

Prime owns, it's just too much of a
Metroid game for my liking. oh noes, a locked door, go to the other side of the map to get the missle upgrade, then go all the way back to open the door, explore a small area, then go all the way back across the map again for some little item you need to get into a little crack.
I didn't find that Fusion was too bad like that, I quite enjoyed it.
my names not lucy....
What the hell does Splainin mean? explaining?
Well...its a good game..I loved it my first 3 times through..
The suit kinda sucks...until the end.
Last time i played...it was right after Super
Metroid...And it just was too hard to play.
It doesnt move nearly as smooth...All i can say is i'd rather play Fusion than
Metroid II or Prime Pinball...or Prime hunters.
my names not lucy....
What the hell does Splainin mean? explaining?
ever seen I Love Lucy?

Lucy, no they didn't. I didn't do the missons on GTA games but went around the city letting out some stress on the hapy towns folk.
thats the boring part..it got boring after like 12 and 1/2 minutes of going around town killing or whatever.
It?! I believe that you mentioned of the GTA games. It sounds like you are actually referring to GTA 3, with which I would heartily agree. However,
Vice City and San Andreas, as overhyped and overpopular as they are, easily had enough diversions to keep you occupied for a long time. If you haven't played these last two, I suggest clarifying when you refer to "all the GTA games".
the first GTA woudl be the best but the cars blowing up like they do ruins it, i like how in GTA 2 the car catches on fire before blowing up, giving you enough time to get out.
Tales of Phantasia was a huge disappointment. Random enemy battles every three steps on a long, boring intro. I got the the inn and couldn't find my way out, so I just gave up at that point.
Secret of Evermore is also disappointing, especially the drab scenery and gameplay. It's sad that they could turn the Secret of Mana engine into something so unfun to play.
The thing about Secret of Evermore is that it seemed to appeal only to certain tastes.
For me , I couldn't get into that one... loved the graphics to the new ones though, i thought they were pretty sweet
and Vermilion i agree with you and with Arron. Halo and Halo 2 got way to much hype....
i hate the fact that not only do i have to play with inmature, insane, cussing 8 year olds but now thanks to the mic. i have to listen to them too!?
i often just mute the damn mic so i have to hear them....
But then again what online multiplayer game doesn't have inmature 8 year olds?
or imature adults for that matter?
It?! I believe that you mentioned
I HAVE played and watched someone play those.I may have mostly been thinking about III...but they all are pretty much the same game. Its the Same thing every time except different time periods. And a few Extra Vehicles and such.
You can do the same crap...and you kinda have to.
They are way way way overrated.
its best part is selling it stupid little kids for like 30 dollars more than it should be worth.
DDR exetreme II....it had one song that i had to mute every time....GET BUSY by Sean Paul...Biggest DDR Disappointment i have ever seen.
I beg to differ. Though many of
Vice City's key gameplay elements were extremely similar to GTA III, the plethora of vehicles and weapons were a significant change up. However, the main gameplay element which made the sequel infinitely more fun was the ability to buy properties and businesses, adding a whole new dimension to the game.
As for San Andreas, well, it was simply a better and extremely in-depth version of the previous two games. There's simply so damn much to do. They made a believable world for the first time, and though I do NOT feel that it deserved so much damn hype, seeing as how the core gameplay hadn't changed one bit, I still feel that the changes were commendable and made the game infinitely more fun.
I agree with Uber Newb, the GTA games has always been fun playing in my eyes. I think San Andreas is a very entertaining game, very realistic.
You get a short story before you start playing it, letting you know where you stand and what you stand for.
The characters and the eviroment are belivable, I especially enjoy the fact that you can see flies flying over the garbage on the streets.
The vehicles are good, I like it, that you can change the radio station. That you can mod your car, and get nitro installed is really cool!
The fact that you can perform burglar missions, and sneak yourself in and out of peoples houses. That the owners of the house is in bed sleeping is cool too.
The missions are fun, for the most part, and you have plenty of things you can do when not on a mission.
So I can't see why you hate the games Cpt. Rad Spencer.
I dont hate them....there just not all that good.
I dont like them very much.
And there way overrated.
I.... liked.... all.... the... GTA.... games....
I.... don't.... think.... they... were.... basically.... the.... same.... game..............................................................
They added quite a bit of stuff in each game. I got 100% Completion on
Vice City and about 90% on San Andreas. TRUST me, there is alot different between the games.
But...They could change more of it than the story and new cars and abilites.
Like what?
For starters, They should change it so no more bad words are said.
No more killings. No more car stealing but called "Car Borrowing" there for chaning the name too GCB( Grand Car Brrowing). And then they could now push for an E rating.
what are you, nun?! shut the hell up!
what are you, nun?! shut the hell up!
If they did that they would make alot more money just think all those little kids who want to play the game but because of the "M" rating they can't buy them..Which sucks and I know how that feels. Sorry if it Offended you Mr.Campkill .
i think they'd make less money. all the people that buy it because of the "M" rating would boycott the "E" rating. they'd lose so many fans, and alot of respect.
But it still would be cool, like a parody or something. It would be like Spaceballs for
Star Wars.
Looks like Lesser Raven beat you to teh punch, Kill. You owe him a nickel.
Metroid CONFUSION
And if anyone has any jokes about Link being on crack, they have to give me the nickel. Look for "VG Explainations", same website, you'll see what I'm talking about.
Also! I have changed my mind! I cannot blam any game with head
POWerups so quickly to judge. I mean, the topic is most disappointing, not most annoying. Or worst. So, I mean, I have to actually change my answer to
Super Mario Bros. 2. The Doki Doki Panic thing. After the amazing success of the original SMB, what with the awesomeness and my mastery of it, any sequal to it should have been just as easy and cool, but with better graphics. Instead, they take a weird Famicom game, rip out "Papa" and the rest of their arabic family, and stick the entire Mario Crew in their stead. You even get to be toad, the most gravity challenged and edible of the group. The only thing I liked was Princess Toadstool's flight abitlity, and yet I still never made it to level 3. SMB2 is a blemish on the Mario legacy. There I said it.
Also, I plan on making my avatar bigger and better soon. Just don't pressure me, because I don't respond well... TO PRESSURE!
