Earliest memory of gaming
What's the earliest memory of gaming you have? Can you remember the system it was on, and the name of the game? Do you remember where you were at?
My earliest gaming memory is very vague. I remember it was on my mom's 2600, but don't remember what game. Afterwards, I remember pretty well playing Spiderman, Jungle Hunt, and Pitfall on my aunt's Atari 2600.
My earliest NES memory was playing
Spy Hunter at a friend of my mom's.
Kings Quest 4. Playing at my grandmothers house on my grandfathers old PC. Good Friggin' times man.
My earliest Nes memory would be playing
Super Mario Bros. 1 in my basement. Also playing
Baseball Stars with my dad and him kicking my ass!
My earliest memory was also on the 2600. It was the game Maze Craze. I remember I was at my mom's friends' house, and her son was really good at the game and kept beating me.
As for NES memory, it was in my friends' upstairs bedroom. He was playing Kung-Fu and remember thinking how real it looked because you could see his eyes!
I remeber from seeing photos playing Q*bert on a VCS before I could walk.
as for actual memory, playing SMB on my NES with my parents.
As stated in another post, my first memory of gaming I had with a Nintendo Game and Watch 20 years ago when I was 5. But I don't really count it as a videogame though.
I played my first video game at a friend's house when I was 8. It was an Atari 2600 and I don't remember the titles. Never was an Atari fan.
My NES came when I was around 12 or so.
Asteroids! My uncle would never get of the stick. Those were the days.
My earliest memory is the arcade game 'Pole Position'. It was one of the first 3-D looking racing games that had graphics just good enough to where you could actually tell that they were race cars!
I was barely able to walk at the time, but I clearly remember perching myself on the driving seat, and moving the steering wheel back and forth. What a great time!
And I didn't need quarters either. The constant looping demo was enough for me at the time.
i didnt know what i was doing at the time, but i guess when i was 1 or 2, i would mess with the ness controler. (play around all baby like). but i guess it paid off seeing as how i kick ass at gaming now
the earliest memory i can get right now is super mario 3 nes
And when was this?
You should state that, too.
