So, what's everyone's favorite character? I would have to say mine is Palom and Porom from Final Fantasy 2 (US). They are very well developed, even if they were not main characters.

I'm going to sound really really generic, but I'm going to have to say Mario.

On Mario Kart Double Dash and Super Smash Bros Melee, though, Luigi's my main man. I'm a big Luigi fan.

It's hard to say... There are many characters that I like. I do go on and off about who is my favorite at the time. Overall, I'd say Solid Snake from Metal Gear is my favorite character. As far as antagonists go, I'd have to say Godfather Gordon from The Adventures of Bayou Billy. I love the laugh he gives before each level!

So many but my favorites are: Link, Sonic, Shadow, Kirby, Bloodrayne, and (Of course) Mario!

Luigi is the man, and the most underestimeted character of video games.
Why don't they make more games with him?
Of course, Link and Mario are cool, too.

I would have to say Mario, Simon from Castlevania and from 64 and ps2 Bond, James Bond.

Have to go with The Blue Bomber himself. Megaman was always a character that could be appreciated for his courageousness of defeating..........plant man

Yeah, Megaman has to be one of my favorites as well, but the old school real Megaman, not this battle network crap.

Link is my all time favourite,a real icon, Mario as well ofcourse .

Its a tie between Megaman, Link, and little Bubble Bobble!

But if were not talking about main characters.

I've been thinking on this, and I don't like Mario. As much as I may get flamed for it. Mario isn't cool anymore. I think it was right around Mario Kart that things went bad. they should have stopped there, but due to greed, we have Mario Tennis, Mario this, Mario that, and soon, Dance Dance Revolution.... with Mario!

Fat itallian plumbers do not play Tennis, or go to raves... Mario was a decent guy. please stop slapping him into every game you can find.

Honestly I'd rather see Mario retired than to see another disgrace of a sports game with him in it.

I'd like to have another Mario game as good as Mario 64.

But I agree with you, I don't need any sport titles with Mario. Let's face it, he is a fat plumber, he can't play Tennis. (Let's dig Pete Sampras and Boris Becker out again )

Mario is not bad, but in the last time a little bit "over-used" by Nintendo.

ah yes, I had forgotten about Mario is Missing. The one I was thinking of was Luigi's Mansion.

There is the Super Luigi Bros hack game NES ROM.
It's not that good, though.

Nintendo should really make more Luigi games. He HAS lots of fans out there.

No, actually I didn't try it yet. Unfortunately. I'm way too busy at university now.
Probably I wait until I have more time and until the game becomes cheaper. It should come out in the Player's Choice (do you have player's choice series in the US, too? I assume, but...) series. I'll wait for that.

i truly dont think ive ever had a favorite character but kirby is a great one but so is sonic lol and Megaman

My favorite males are: Genis (well duh), Charade (of Soul Calibur 2), and Cut man (Guess.) Females are Terra Bradford (Guess again), Princess Zelda(=3) and Xianghua (SCII, Now you know why I spend a hour a day drooling in front of the cube.)

After him there is a sea of choices, but I have to settle on Megaman.

I would have said Dana from Fire 'n Ice, but I thought it was he was a girl until I beat the game. So I just couldn't pick a character that led me on like that...

I completely forgot about Toad! he's way up there on the list. I always pick him whnever he's playable! I'm going to have to change my response from Megaman it's a tie really.

I liked toad the coward in Luigi Mansion.
I take him quite often in Mario Kart.
