PS3 demos f4|<3
Well, that just confirms what everyone already knew.
though is my favorite look at the Sony conference.
but what it says about the Xbox 360 doesn't mean anything, the current top of the line
POWermac G5 is dual 2.7Ghz, the 360 is set to use a tri-core 3.2Ghz CPU, so performance will be GREATER than what was shown at E3 if anything.
haha awesome cartoon.
Performance isn't everything these days.
We gamers need no ideas. Or am I wrong?
It just amazes me if the graphics this gen are awsome and next gen are probably even better...then how they look the generation after next?
we do need new ideas, but nobody is doing that... not even Nintendo. D
Dr. Mario Mix? Mario
Baseball, Mario
Golf... does anyone really care? the only innovative thing Nintendo has done lately is stuck another screen on a gameboy, and that's being put to poor use.
I really don't know which next generation console I'm most interested in, but I think it's the Xbox 360 so far.
I feel that the 2D side scroller needs to be brought back. We rely alot of 3D graphics now that the side scroller action has been lost. I mean with the technology all these new systems have, you can probably produce some BEAUTIFUL graphics.

Edit: I also miss the old style of mortal kombat with REAL people.
Same here. I play Trilogy the most. Also, I think Nintendo does do a lot of things with Mario (
Golf,
Tennis, etc), but you gotta love Mario games. My brother and me have some many great memories with those games. I love them. Also, I don't think the DS dual screens are being wasted. I own one, and is a very pleased Nintendo Fan. Also, I am interested in the Rev. the most. My one friend is going to get a X-Box 360, and my other friend is getting PS3, so I'm ready to buy the Rev. I'l have acess to all the Next Gen. consoles.
wow, mortal combat. i used to waste so much money on that in the arcades.

Erm... sorry? What kind of innovation did MS show? I can't think of one.
Online gaming is no innovation. Even Sony had an innovation with eye-toy...
New ideas have little chances because people go for strong hardware and brand names.
Nintendo always tries do develop new stuff and then they are copied.
It's quite hard these days for Nintendo. They can't mess with the big budgets of Sony and MS. They want to develop new ideas and sometimes they really do. But there's always the risc that people don't like the new ideas and won't buy the stuff. That again weakens Nintendo. Gamers buy XBoxes and PSs. There they get nothing new, but solid refurbished stuff.
Of course Nintendo also has to make profits and that's why they market Mario and Pokemon so much. They need to. Then they take the money and develop new ideas.
Sony and MS then steal good new ideas and use them too...
That's like a vicious circle.
If they can't sell stuff, they can't develop new ideas because money lacks.
I don't know whether I made my point clear, but I'll stick with Nintendo. As long they release new hardware I'll buy that.
I'm sure I can get at least 20 high quality games that interest me and I'm not asking for more.
If Nintendo goes down, video games will not be what they were used to be.
