That sounds like The Legend Of Kage.
The same game hit me.
Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!
Thanks guys!!!
We all sure it's not shinobi? Or maybe I, too, am thinking of
Demon Sword...
It's not Shinobi.
Legend of Kage is great. (here's where i plug my shrine .....)
check out my LoK shrine for my site that
Nicely done. I never would have guessed the boss of that game's name was "
Yoshi!"
Where do you think Nintendo got the name for their beloved green lizard?
The music for Legend of Kage is pretty bad ass. Great game. However, maybe it's just me, but
Demon Sword is super hard compared to LoK.
That's why I like it. I'm pretty sure I've only gotten to the third level. Of course, I suck, but that changes NOTHING, I say!
Hello, I came up with a flashback of a game I played with my pal back in the good ol' days. I find it very unlikely that someone recognises this. It was a puzzle game, destroying/moving blocks. The overview resembled
Bomberman, but you had to move the blocks or destroy them, i can't recall that well :S
I think the character had a wand of some sort, and he looked a bit like some magician. None of these descriptions are 100% true, but I'd be very grateful! Thanks.

Fire 'n' Ice?
Other than the "overview" this one sounds close. You have to move / destroy the blocks to get to the end. Sort of a puzzle solving game, fun one to boot.
omg, that's it! Thanks, logandbz.
I've been on drugs or something with that
Bomberman-thingy
As I tried that game with an emulator, I instantly remembered it when I saw that granny and the two brats.
Anyway, I think it's nice that a forum like this is alive, and you get answers so quicly!
