Insult to the 8 bit
Through out its life, few louzy games were released for the NES, but there are some that goes way beyond tolerance.
One such game is The Terminator. What were the developers thinking. With a little bit for sincerity, they could have given some taste to the game.
So, do you guys have any opinion to share about games that you feel under represents the 8 bit NES.
Remember, it is more about graphics and sound and not gameplay.
So, this thread is different from ones like "The louziest games on NES".
I always loathed and detested Transformers. I mean, they didn't even .
I know there are a few more that disgusted me to no end, but I can't think of them for the life of me... self imposed memory block, perhaps?
Raid 2020, and mostly and sports game that tried to have better graphics then the system could push, and not simple ones like
Blades of Steel.
Like Newb, I have so many I hate, but I can't remember them
Like the person above said, Transformers was AWFUL. But
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde has to be the WORST game ever made. No...SERIOUSLY
Is that Transformers, as an Optimus Prime etc?
If so, that's an insult to tranformers as well
Also, Raid 2020 completley stank. I also thought Wall Street Kid was absolute rubbish.
The game based on "waynes world" also stinks.

Ayuh.
I'm possibly the only person who kind of enjoyed Raid 2020. I know, I know, it sucked, but there are so many glitches that you can actually use some of them to your advantage (such as riding on top of enemies).
One word: Wizardry
Mario is Missing
Mario's Time Machine
...
Seriously... why?

Mario is missing and Marios time machine have good graphics.

Darn tootin. I like how Mario is Missing has a Mario World feel going on.

They deserved to be mentioned anyway. They are an "insult to the 8 bit".
But since we're going to get all strict and technical about the first post...
No mention of "graphics" or "sound" in that comment.
And...
Hearby leaving open discussion for any game I have an opinion on.
Finally...
Perhaps this should have been made more clear in the topic's header.
But to stay "on topic", yes the graphics and sound of 'Mario Is Missing' and 'Mario's Time Machine' greatly "under represents the 8 bit NES".
k.
blasphemy!
You traitor!
Deet.Deet Dee.dee, badee de de dee de.
that music rocks.
Arctic Adventure. Absolute... failure... of a game.
Argus. I downloaded the
NES ROM thinking it was a sequel to NES
Rygar, and was VERY disappointed.
The NES version of
Rampage sucked like a Hoover, too.
Predator for nes was also a BIG insult. Crappy graphics and AWFUL gameplay makes it one of the worst games for the nes.
Deadly Towers
I like that game, it's fun with more than just one player.
I kind of thought Jeckyll and hyde was pretty pointless, I only keep it around for nostalgic purposes anymore.
