I've never heard of this game, but I have an opportunity to buy it. Is it worth grabbing? Is it a sidescroller, rpg, what? I don't know anything about it.

From what I can see it was a Famicom game only... at least that's what DP says, and all of the NES ROMs I've found seem to be (J).

Either way, rather than relying on reviews, why don't you emulate it for a few minutes and see how it plays?

That's what I would do. Try to get the NES ROM and play it.
Or you can try where you may find some screenshots of the game.

Or I try to find out how available it is in Japan.
At the time there is up for Moon Crystal. The guy wants 4500Yen (45$) for it and says it's rare.

If it's cheap I'd get it.
How much is it? Does it come with box and manual?

Famicom only... the guy I talked to said it was English. He's offering it for ten bucks. I didn't buy it because it was a blank cartridge.

... Maybe it's a translated NES ROM put into a cart... is it a guy you know personally? If so I'd ask him to let you play it once.

Yeah, it doesn't have a label. No, I don't know the guy really well, but I did end up downloading the NES ROM.

It's the translated NES ROM, and I like it, but I don't want to pay ten bucks for the game if it's just a NES ROM cart (which was what I kind of suspected). Besides, I've been reading up on it, and the sites I went to said the translated version was shortened.
