Need an Adventure game recommendation

In Games

I have been bored for a while and I was wondering if nyone had any good games they could recommend me to play. I am looking for somthing good that I can get Hooked on.

Try and name some games that are not listed in the games forums section thats are known like Mario Brothers and Megaman cause I have already played them.

If you've never played M.C. Kids- You are sure to get Hooked on it.

What system were you looking for? For fantasy type adventures, you should check out any of the King's Quest adventures on Pc. (You could probably find the first 4 or 5 for download on some abandonware site)

For consoles, I would suggest Shadowgate on Nes or Shadowgate 64 on N64.

If you like the Pc adventure games, I can Hook you up with a bunch

Thanks guies, I will check out both games. Also Shadow I meant NES, thats why I put it in this forum, other wise it would have gone in the 64, SNES, or other forum

Ok dude, sorry about that.

For another Nes adventure, you should check out Princess Tomato.

You can also try out The Lone Ranger on NES as well.

how about Gargoyle's Quest 2? that game pwns n00bs

Some good games have been mentioned. I'd say if you haven't played through The Battle of Olympus, you should try that out. It's a pretty tough game that's controlled like Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. Like I said though, it's hard... don't play it if you're looking for a stroll in the park

Another cool game that's adventure/action/shooter is The Guardian Legend. I really like this game; best played with the NES Advantage. You might also consider Legacy of the Wizard. That's another game that could take you awhile to figure out what to do.

ABSOLUTELY PERFECLTY MARVELOUSLY RECOMMENDED!
Princess Tomato in the Salad Kingdom.

Do not the "childish" characters fool you about the game reputation.
It is really fantastic.

Cospefogo.

if you still want one, try arkirsta's ring.

Very good game, I second that.

I take the term "adventure" literally when making this list...

- Side-scrolling Adventure
Metroid
Zelda II: The Adventure of Link
Battle of Olympus
Castlevania II: Simon's Quest
Legacy of the Wizard
Faxanadu
Strider
Blaster Master
The Goonies II
Dr. Chaos
Ufouria
Clash at Demonhead
Adventure Island 4

- Overhead Adventure
Legend of Zelda
Crystalis
Metal Gear
Snake's Revenge
Times of Lore
Faria

- Other Viewpoints
Solstice
Deadly Towers

- Point-and-click Adventure
Maniac Mansion
NightShade
Kings Quest V
Tombs and Treasures

- Graphic Text Adventure
Shadowgate
Uninvited
Deja Vu
Princess Tomato In the Salad Kingdom

I just named off all of those games to anyone else who might be viewing the topic who hasn't played all the "obvious" ones yet.

There are other "adventures" like 'Castlequest' and 'Heroes of the Lance', but I don't really recommend playing those.

Heroes of the Lance... *shudder*

One more that wasn't mentioned was Willow.

Thanks guies

Also I have tryed Willow, tough game but have not played it in like 8 years

I don't know if it's considered too popular to mention (I doubt it), but you'll get a good experience playing .

How could I have forgotton '?

I also neglected ''.
'Ironsword: Wizards & Warriors II' could also fall into the "adventure" category, but it's considerably more linear than the other two in the series.
