What would games be like now if they tried the same concept of 3-d graphics with 8-bit graphics?

I think it would look absolutely horrible, unless of course that's the style the game wanted to achieve (and it had a good reason for wanting to look that way).

I think it could be good for making certain RPG games like the King's Quest style if you know what I mean.

If Nintendo would start producing NES Games again (what they ofcourse won't do!!) i would most def buy them.
A few more RPG's won't hurt but also some cool adventures and shmups would be great,as long as it can be played with a 2 button joystcik.

Itd be absolutley awsome for RPGS. 8 and 16 bit rpgs will forever be the greatest. Not saying that all 3d rpgs are bad but they are nothing compared to the snes and nes RPG"s

That's true. Most new "3D" RPGs look nice, but they want to be more than RPGs. They are also platformer, action game, adventure,...
And so are all other genres, too.
I liked the simple games back then, when RPGs were only RPGs and platformers only platformers.
