In Games

So I haven't played this game in a few months. I sat down to play it yesterday as time killer before we went to Wal-Mart. I started playing, and had one of my better performances ever! I actually got through the whole game only getting knocked down twice! Now, I used to be able to do it without getting knocked down at all. After a few months, I figured I'd get jacked up all over the place! I couldn't believe how well I did! Knocked down once by Mr. Sandman, and once by Tyson himself. I was so excited, I took a pic of it.




Nothing special, I know. But it was so fun when I played it again!

I think this was one of the better games on the NES. It ended up being a classic, too. It was the only game to use the MMC2 chip, which enabled the game to have the characters make all the funny faces that they did. I often wonder why no other games utilized this technology for maybe... cinema screens.

The coolest part about this game is how simple the gameplay is. Easy to get used to, and you get to figure out how to fight each opponent. After awhile, you figure them out, but it still remains a challenge on your reflexes.

Do you guys have this game, or maybe have your sights set on it? If not, I suggest getting it. It seems like it's hard to come by, as I've only seen it in a store once (when I purchased it), but I'm sure it's possible to find it.

I want to try and get both
Mike Tyson's Punchout and the re-release version Punchout without Mike at the end, i dont know what replaces him tho, can some one tell me please.

It's an opponent called Mr. Dream. I always thought that was kind of hokey. They should've come up with something a little more clever than that. I'm pretty sure that he is about the same sprites as Tyson, with just a color variation... actually, does his face look the same too?

WOW! Roth you beat tyson??? I couldnt do that no matter how hard i tried..even with save state!. I dont know how you do it man but awsome job on that. Tyson is very very very challenging. And Punchout was a GREAT game and so was super Punchout on snes.
