hey guys,

opinions wanted... what's the best import games?

What's the one game you would get that never came to US?

I honestly don't know alot about games outside of the US, but I think that Adventure Island 4 is really cool. We only got the first three, but the fourth is more of a side-view action/RPG. It kind of reminds me of Wonder Boy III for the Master System.

Here's a list of the best Japanese games never released in the US.

I would get Dragon Quest/Warrior V.

I'd also definitely say Dragon Quest V and VI.

The Sakura Taisen series is also very good.

wouldn't Dragon Quest V and VI be hard to play if you can't read Japanese?

I actually saw All the Dragon Quest series on Ebay right now all of them in Mint conditon with box and manual if anybody's interested.

Adventure Island 4 sounds pretty good.

Definitley the Tales of Phantasia remake on the playstation 1.

Definantely Castlevania Dracula X for Saturn
and Snatcher for Sega CD.

first of I'd like to say that your abbreviation for Japan is wrong. Its proper abbreve is: J, JP ,or JPN. I dont blame you. Its a common mistake that hundreds of people make. The use of "Jap" is a racial slur used in the fourties and I'm sure no one japanese would like that if you used that term.

wow I am in no way racist. my wife is Actually Chinese.

honestly I heard that term used many times before to describe import games from Japan. I never looked at it as a racist term.

PAL, JAP, and US I see that all the time.

My wife's parents and Grandparents went from Hong Kong to Vietnam, then from Vietnam over to here in Toronto Canada.

glad to see im not the only one that thought that term was normal.

2 great games that never made it over to US

not sure if there's anything better then these 2 games for the famicom

Yume Penguin Monogatari and every unreleased kunio game. Kunio had 30+ games in japan and here we got only a few of them and bastardized as well
