In Games

I was thinking about getting this game,and I was wondering if I could get some opinions on it. Also wondering if anyone knew where I could get some game sleeves or some other protective cases. Thanks

never heard of it, if you want to get it, you should try downloading i via emulator. Maybe someone else on the board might know more.

Haven't played it for a long time, I think it's an average/below average platformer. Not worth paying loads for. The only thing I really remember is that the sound effects are lifted directly from The Simpsons Bart vs the Space Mutants (and the other simpsons games), so if you're familiar with that game it sounds a bit strange.

Really? I thought the sound for vs. The Space Mutants had the perfect sound for that game... I bet it would sound strange on another game. Especially one like the Swamp Thing. I'll have to check that out, because that's weird!

Have you played Home Alone 2? That's even weirder than Swamp Thing because not only are the sound effects stolen directly from Bart vs Space Mutants but the rest of the game feels somewhat familiar too. You know the funny way Bart jumps? Kevin in Home Alone 2 has the same wierd jump. You should really check that one out.

Funniest thing is they weren't even made by the same company. Swamp Thing and Home Alone 2 were from TH*Q whereas The Simpsons was from Acclaim.

Man, now that is crazy! I'll be checking out both of those carts now!

Actually they are made by the same company (not sure about Home Alone 2 though, but it probably is). T*HQ and Acclaim are the publishers, the actual developer of these games is a company named Imagineering. Check the credits in these games.

Haha well that makes more sense then! At least they were copying themselves instead of somone else. Still pretty lazy though.
