In Games

Hello. Today I ran into a very old NES game that I had a long time ago. After playing it for a while I've decided to search for the rest of my old games. I couldn't find them on here or MobyGames, so I was hoping that the people here, could tell me the names of these two games...

First one was a top-down flight shooter action game. All I really remember from it that the plane was white and the terrain looked like a green chipboard (well for the first level anyway). From what I remember this game didn't have any other modes of play and it didn't have a very big GUI.

Second one, I have I've been searching for many years. I remember that the cover or cart's design was a large green snake with it's mouth open and it had three heros standing in it like an entrace to a dungeon. It was a fanstasy dungeon game. You explored a maze-like dungeon and fight monsters and everything. The games layout had the first people view in the top-left of the screen, the map or health in the top-right and the messages was in the bottom like this...

I dunno for sure,but the 1st maybe is 1942 and the 2nd most def. is Swords and Serpents.

Thanks alot Nes-a-holic. You wouldn't believe how long I've been searching for that Swords & Serpents. That game isn't listed at MobyGames so prehaps that was it was so hard to find. I really wish I kept my NES because from what I've look at, it seems pretty rare now. However 1942 wasn't the game I had. It did played a lot like it but I can't remember it having planes (well at least on the first level), most of the bullets was turrents on the ground and it didn't have that much action in it.

I must admit that the memory I have of the game is nothing compared to all my other games but I still don't think that this is it. I can't remember it having bombs, just a shooter weapon that could attack all units. I don't think there were any other airs units expect for yourself. I also remember that it had really bad graphics (even for a NES). The plane was just plain white and so where the turrets from the ground. I might be a little mistaken but that's all I can really remember from it.
