In Games

I've heared that the sleeves for the NES Games doesn't help out with dust...is it true?

I store them in that sleeves and I find that they work just fine.
Never had any problem with.

I'm sure they do help to some extent. That's what I use for my collection, and I don't have any problems. They don't perfectly encase the game, though, so I'm sure a little dust gets in there. I don't think it's a whole lot to worry about, though.

Well it helps a bit yeah, the sleeve,it's better with 'em then with out 'em.
Glad most of my collection is complete in box,usually i use a game genie,not to cheat but to get the game to work.
I clean them once in a while,till then the game genie always works mega great with the games.

this has been posted about before, they obviously help by enclosing the bottom of the cart more so than it being wide open. They still require cleaning, but it does help.

when you clip the chip though it doesn't blink anymore.

yeah i always used sleeves or the plastic cases they never cause me any trouble

the sleeves help to some extent. if your a clean freak like me, cleaning your games regularly + using sleeves ensures your games work great and for a long time to come . i cant stand dirty games in my collection. just doesnt feel right

Also my games are all in great shape.
I only need to clean my hardware in the next time.

yea my top loader is pretty dirty i need to clean it too.....
most of my games arent bad though except a couple have stickers on them from when i was a kid lol

Something I try to do is get rid of the stickers off the games right when I get them... on the 30 min. ride back home, I have my wife drive so I can look at our new stock, and pull them all off then, while looking for corrosion.

speaking of that i think soon im gonna clean all my games there actually pretty filthy... and need to take some stickers off

I'm lucky, I never had a sticker on my hardware or the carts. But I'd get rid of them if I had.
But I have stickers on my TV set, which is about 20 years old and was pre-used by about 5 persons.
