In Games

I'm pretty much a newbi here and theres probably been a bunch of these but i'll make it maybe the slightest bit interesting. What is the best boss in a game (any system) you have faced or defeated last yr 04?

I really like the fight at the end of The Adventures of Bayou Billy. It's just a beat 'em up style fight, but Rocky and Rocco present quite a challenge. Godfather Gordon right before them is a pretty cool fight, too. He moves around differently than the other bosses. Good times!

As far as newer systems, I'm not really sure... probably any boss from Ikaruga on the DreamCast! Tough battles and really innovative design!

Nice... I would have to go with Dam Dr. Wily. I bought the Anniversary Collection which consisted of Megamans 1 throu 8 and i managed to beat em all just before the yr. ended

All the forms of Ganon in the Windwaker, And the finale boss fight as sonic and shadow in Sonic Adventure 2 battle

Im still collecting the shards in the windwaker....i havent played it in a while. Still one of the best games ive ever played.

I really think that Super Mario 64 has alot of great bosses! If I had to choose I think I would chosen the Bob Omb Boss or the last Bowser.

Agreed. I think that game equals 'Contra: Shattered Soldier' in terms of pure intensity (I too played the DreamCast version, but it's also available for GameCube).

I haven't played through many 2004 releases. I think the most recent game I've tried (outside of Half-Life 2) is the first 'Sly Cooper' on PS2. I really like the giant voodoo alligator fight.

Ganon on Wind Waker was good. (But a little bit too easy)

most boss battles in a game dissapoint me but i think even though its been years the Megaman game for playstation was great boss battles i dont remembe the name of the game but the bosses were great
