Netplay

Anyone wants to "netplay"? I'm using snes9x.

I'd love to try netplaying sometime. I'm not too familiar with alot of SNES Games, though. Unfortunately, I have dial up... would that create some problems?

What games would you play? Sports? Dr. Mario?

Personally, I'd like to do some Contra, or Jackal... something along those lines. I'm more into doing two-player games like that. Maybe some Battletoads? You know... action!

Oh man I forgot th emu's have internet online play. Roth, you should make a Sticky thread called "The Official Net-Play Challenge Thead"

Well, let's wait and see what everyone else wants to do. If there are only two or three of us interested in this, then I think that would be a waste of a topic, seeing as how there is already one here.

Also, I think "Net-Play Challenge" sounds a little too competitive. Remember, when you play with your friends it's a little different than playing with online friends (those you don't know so well). It's probably better to be cooperative with them for now. As your online relationship grows, though, then would be a good time to play competitive games. That's how I see it, anyway. Maybe others feel differently, though.
