In Emulators / NES ROMs

can any one tell me how to put a NES ROM on this thread that i made so people can check it out?

I hope, Derek will put it on quickly. I want to see that. (I like hacks )

well, i've made LOTS of hacks. only thing is, i got no money to pay for REAL software. so i do it the beginer way. i use nesticle. but i think the hack that came out the best was my little samson hace. i turned it into a game i call wizard. its pretty good. you'll see it soon if derek puts it on.

yes, for a nesticle hack its pretty good, but dont expect an expert hack

It'll be good just to see a Little Sampson hack. Normally they're either Mario or Megaman

ya. thats mainly what i see for hacks. if you go to NES ROM-world.com, you'll see a BUNCH of Megaman and mario games. mainly because they're in different languages and hacks.

Unfortunately I'm sitting on a University computer now, but I'll definitely download it on the weekend.

I found the enemies in the early sections to be difficult to see... although I haven't played the actual Little Samson, so it may be an issue with that game as well...

I just gave the first level a play. You've definitely uped the difficulty level now you can barely see half the enemies! I found the way you can't see your gun fire is a little annoying but apart from that an alright hack. Better than what I can do anyway!

i did make the enemies harder to see, because i found the regular version to easy, so i though i'd make this harder.

and the reason you cant see his attack, is because i tried to make it seem like an invisible stroke of magic came out of his hands.

the most difficult level i made was with your invisible character. its hard to see where he is going, but its good to use your arm weapong for a guide...

(and i gave samson a beard!!! )

Ah I see, that's where the whole wizard thing comes into it!

basically, yes. samson is supposed to resemble somewhat of a wizard
(not by appearance, but by his POWer)

I hope it's not too difficult. Would it be good to having played the original game before?

Oh yes play the original first so you know how it was supposed to be. It'll probably have to be the NES ROM because the game itself is very hard to find (don't think it was released in Europe). It's one of the NES's best platformers in my opinion.

Samson sometimes sells on eBay, but I don't know the actual prices. There's one now with starting bid of 2.99 Euro.
