n64 roms
anybody no a site with any good n64
NES ROMs?
That's a pretty shaky subject. Usually you have to jump through
Hoops to get a hold of those. I think because they are still fairly recent games, it's a bit more on the illegal side. I try not to mess with such things, as most of the places you find them are super shady.
lol yea i know what you mean maybe i should just give up.... lol
Another thing is that the roms are a lit bigger than let's say a
NES ROM.
It needs more money to host those, that's probably why the sites are so "shady". They need to make money by a lot of sex advertising and stuff.
try a torrent site, they have packages of n64
NES ROMs alot of the time.
yeah, Torrents are about the only way to go that I know of. was the best, but then they decided to stop hosting files... from my experience there are no good N64 emulators out there anyway... probably just be easier and more fun to goto a pawn shop and grab an N64 and a pile of games for $50 or something.
On top that would be less illegal.
And it's cool to own the console itself.
For the torrent thing: I always have problems to find torrent sites that really function well. You always need to sign up to dubious hacker, warez and/or porn sites.
Yesterday I found a site where they have a torrent with a SNES emulator and "all" the
NES ROMs. Maybe it's really all the
NES ROMs available. The file has 4.04GB! (And there's one who is actually seeding it, but I'm not willing to download 4Gigs.)
On the same site there's also a N64 package with lots of
NES ROMs with 2.52GB.
would you mind updating that post with a link to the site? I used to torrent a lot of things when I could still find them.
the site is .
They have lots of porn ads there, though. And it's in German.
You enter the site at the bottom of the page.
And when you search a little they also have LEGAL things.
I downloaded game and movie trailers a while ago.
But most of the content is copyrighted material.
I can deal with translating it, I've just been unable to find a good torrent site (downloaded my NESterDC image from a torrent site, as well as a package with 2000+
NES ROMs)
When I did used to get my hands on N64
NES ROMs, I found there are actually two decent emulators (for Windows, don't know about Mac). One being Project 64, and the other being 1964. Some games run on one, some games run on the other. I don't like having to install emulators, however...
Especially when they use too much system resources.
I had one on my old computer (it was an emulator for a Sega system, don't remember exactly which) and it slowed down my machine so much I had to uninstall it.
Later I found out, that probably that emulator got me some spyware on my system.
Now I also try to have not so many programs on my computer.

yeah i used to use supernova all the time with my shareaza but now they just stopped or whatever so now i just searcg through shareaza doesnt matter though i just delted my gamecube, snes, and nintendo 64 emulators anyway
I could never get N64 emulation to work on my gaming pc, and since I have an N64, I really never cared enough to soup up my gaming comp and fiddle with settings. If you still want the
NES ROMs, let me know and I"ll give you some sites i used to use (If they didn't get shut down of course!)
go ahead and tell me the sites noe because if they got the certain game im lookimh for then im gonna redownload another one so let me see it
Go to they have a good bunch of
NES ROMs there for N64. And all of them i've tried have worked
i neeeeeeeeed a paper mario
NES ROM
i really do..
the best one IVE found has been hacked into be some maniac meaning that you turn into
Yoshi when you jump
if anyone could supply a
NES ROM or site(keeping in mind ive tried ALOT)
i would be very grateful
THANX
whoa im actually posting this on 22/05/05 at 13:12
what time does it say im posting??
Ah n64
NES ROMs are not even worth the trouble. Belive me my computer if new and the emulator and crap is really buggy on it. I tried playing StarFox64 and it wont even control right. Not to mention you wont have enough buttons on a gamepad if you use one to confiqure all the buttons. So all in all , stay far away from the 3d emulators.
Emuparadise.org has a good n64 section. I use the 1964 emu with a nvidia geoforce video card, works good for all the big name n64 games like Super Mario 64 and Mario Kart 64. I just got
Zelda Ocarina of Time and it works great too. The reason I like the 1964 emu is you can keep hitting the + key on your keyboard until the speed is adjusted right. I've only got a 700 mhz cpu on my emu comp and it keeps up fine. I do agree though that half the games you get will have graphics errors or will play wrong.
fairly recently N64 emulation has improved, people have discovered ways to retexture the models in the game, greatly improving the way the games look.
just updated not to long ago.
I find that it plays the best of all the Windows run N64 emulators (or at least it does now).

I also updated that and the games still run the same. Oh well hope someone can make it flawless like the good ol zsnes some day.

I agree with Fraw, Rom Hustler is a VERY good place for any ROM except for GBA, then it's Emuparadise
Also with Rom Hustler The
NES ROMs are In 7z Format and instead of downloading from Download.com, use
