Final Fantasy game and dont wanna loose it. thanks.
If you're using FCE Ultra, then you can just save it like a normal game. It should just save and pick up where it was. If you want to save EXACTLY where you are standing:

just f.y.i all my
NES ROMs are in english and come from unless I say differently. I like those DBZ games. really fun, if you dont have them go get 'em and try 'em.
Hey, maybe instead of collecting
NES ROMs in batch, you should download one or two, finish playing with them and then download few more.
My experience says, too much of related things at once ruins the fun for all. You really can't get maximum satisfaction out of them.
I got A.D.D, I need more than 1 or 2 things goin' on at the same time. I normally go back and forth now between the NES emulator and the SNES emulator playing 2 games at once. anyone else like that?
I put them all on CD that way, in case the computer crashes I still have the
NES ROMs and emulators. Will produce my list tonight if the great nes luke and other wonderful mods allow it.
yay, I'm great and wonderful
though I don't really think we need everyone on the forum listing ROM collections.
NES ROMs are incredibly easy to find in most cases. I have a few thousand myself.
but if people really do want to list their collections, I suppose that's fine.
I'm fine with it, but I won't list my collection.
As Luke said,
NES ROMs are easy to get and free, so it's easy to get 1000 or even 10000
NES ROMs. It's just not impressive.
If you now plan to post a list of your 10000+ carts and game-CDs and game-DVDs for various systems, I'd be impressed.
I have probably several hundred
NES ROMs I use on my PocketPC NES Emulator - I can zip them and upload if anyone is interested.
I'm also hoping to get my hands on a full collection of
NES ROMs for several classic systems (including Atari) in a few months.
I have 50
NES ROMs, 20 Super Nintendo roms, and 10 Sega Genisis roms. I delete roms that I get the real game of. Roms for me are to play games that weren't released in North America, or really hard/rare games to find. Also, to try out expensive games, so I know if it is worth more than 30 bucks. Like
Dragon Warrior III, and IV.
Heh...I downloaded the entire collection of
NES ROMs from Emuasylum.com......close to 100,000 games all together at the time, but now they have more. It took me like seven or eight months spending three or four hours a day downloading to get every single one. Instead of ADD...I'm obsessive compulsive....I must have them all!!!! Heh,heh,heh........
you might want to look into the "good" sets, "GoodNES" "GoodPCE" etc, they're archives of all of the known
NES ROMs for a given console.
The NES set has over 10,000 files.
i got nesren im pretty sure.. but yeah, i think that's every commercial game.. even things like the nintendo world challenge or whatever it's called.. the bazzillion dollar cart.
This site has a games section, you know...
I downloaded every atari 2600 game and a ton of
NES Games in 3 minutes.
i have a bunch of full
NES ROMsets... 2600 included.
I have close to 800
NES ROMs... just mainly to test games out... all nes...
where did you get
Super Mario Bros. 1 from? i can't get a version that doesn't stay on level 0-1
From the FCE Ultra FAQ:
This happens if you're using a hacked copy of the
Super Mario Bros. NES ROM image. The hacked version is reading from uninitialized RAM, apparently to get the starting level number. This bad copy of SMB was likely extracted from a bootleg multicart, which would have had a menu run before the game started, initializing RAM and setting the starting level.
Check this thread for what you're looking for:
I have way too many
NES ROMs to list. I have emulators for both NES and SNES, with the NES collection near completion, and my SNES collection just now re-building (had to redo my comp, so I lost all my
NES ROMs). Also, I run MAME, so I have a ton of arcade
NES ROMs. I'm not at home right now, so I couldn't really begin to list any
NES ROMs I may own.
I have a few complete sets now also:
MAME .99
NES
SNES
Gameboy systems (orig, color, advance)
Sega systems
N64
AMiga & Commodore
Atari
Daphne
Zinc
and some other misc ones like coleco and stuff
about 30 DVDs total.
