Rovin
Just found my old How to Win at Nintendo Games by Jeff Rovin in a bookshelf.
This is sweet.
Now, only to get my hands on my pringles interactive mario books.
Ha! Cool! Which one is it that you have? I was fortunate enough to find 1,2, and 3 in a boxed set. I didn't even know they had a boxed set . He also had a How to Win at Nintendo Sports Games book. Does anyone know if he had any others?
Oh, and what are the Pringles interactive books? I have never heard of those.
From what I recall, and I may be wrong on some of this. But if you collected the UPCs of say 4 Pringles cans then sent in 2.50 to cover shipping that you would get a mario book in return. These were the kind of books that you would be given an option on what to do next, or you would do a maze and depending on where you ended up you get a certain item.
They were pretty awful from what I remember but it was mario so I still got a kick out of it.
I love such intereactive books.
And with Mario? Cool. Would like to have those.
As for other interactive books I can recommend you the works by Ian Livingstone and Steve Jackson. Try them. RPGs in book-form!

Man I was fanatical about those when I was a kid! I only have a couple of them now because I think I mainly got them from the library. They are like a video game in a book.
Yeah, I had all of them from the local library. Some of the books I played and read through several times. Those are great.
