The most in your collection
What company do you have the most of in your collection?
I think I have more first party games than any other at the moment.
Same here. The next runner up would be Konami, followed by Capcom. I think that's the order of the most. Sounds right.
I'm not sure about others, I'll do an inventory a little later.
Manufacturers from most to least-- only manufacturers with 10 or more games in my collection:
Nintendo - 50
Capcom - 28
Konami - 25
Acclaim - 17
Data East - 15
Ultra - 14
Jaleco - 13
LJN - 12
Sunsoft - 11
Tengen - 11
Bandai - 10
I love having my collection in SQL tables for The NES Files so I can perform queries like these.

What are the names of those games? I've been wondering what all the games Data East made were.
Wow, I didn't realize they made that many games! I thought they only made five or six. One of the games that you're missing is Werewolf: The Legend. That is an awesome comic book style game. Check it out!
This include all of my systems, but I have alot of Rareware, Squaresoft, and Capcom games. Of course I also have many games by good old Nintendo
Nintendo - 10
Ultra - 5
Irem - 1
Capcom - 2
Tengen - 1
Enix - 1
Tecmo - 1
Taito - 1
Konami - 1
Square - 1
Data East - 3
Kemco - 1
Arcadia - 1
Paramount - 1

The majority of the games in my whole video game collection comes from Nintendo.
2nd I think is Square-Enix.

People's interests are different.
People need to own more Camerica/Codemasters games...
I agree about the love for Konami games. They made the best
NES Games (except of course for Nintendo ).
Yes, interests do differ. For example, I like the game
Final Fantasy.
...Ultra - 5
...
Konami - 1...
I find it weird that you would have five Ultra and one Konami game. What are the Ultra games you have? I can't even think of five Ultra games worth owning. And which Konami game do you have?
Well, the collection has grown a lot (nearly doubled I'd say) since that post, but...
Ultra:
Silent Service,
Metal Gear,
Skate or Die,
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1, and 2, Q*bert,
Konami:
Top Gun,
Blades of Steel,
Kings Quest V,
Contra
that I can find without examining each cart...
...
Of course not.
Well, I'm a huge fan of
Metal Gear, but not so much Snake's Revenge. It was made very hastily, I feel. The Japanese
Metal Gear 2 is far superior...
I did also enjoy Star Trek 25th Anniversary, but probably fans of the original TV series would get into that game.

My friend Justin sent me some pics of his NES collection, and I thought I'd show it to you. I forget how many carts he has, and I have two other friends with comparable collections.
wow, that's a good pile of carts... I packed mine up recently and I can just fill a milk crate, I have some work to do.
That's a nice colletion.
It would still be better if he had all the boxes, too, but still very impressing.
I still have some work to do, too.
Here's my friend Chuck's collection. He's still recovering from having around 100 cartridges stolen from him, but his collection is still looking really nice:
How can one ne stolen 100 carts?
How did that happen?
His brother's friend borrowed a TON of games to take to a party, and they never got returned. This kid was living alone with his girlfriend, and they broke up, she packed up...basically everything, and left town. The kid swears she took all the
NES Games, though I'm not sure why she would do that. I'm almost positive they got sold.
Don't give people games for parties. Even when they aren't stolen, there is the risk of stains on games or broken games or something.
That's a bad, sad story.
Pfff, damn i would totally flip man, i would hunt them down anyway indeed do lend anybody your stuff, they will never handle it with the care like we do.
Back to the topic, i think i have mostly capcom,Konami,Nintendo and i got alot of Taiti games,Taito is the best imo.
