Pirate/Alternate NES carts in Brazil - Anyone interested?
Gentlemen,
Just remembered now when I get contacted by Martin
from NES World asking about the pirate carts of all
gaming systems avaliable in Brazil.
So, I did a interesting research for him, you can check it
here, with a lot of pictures. Please note, this was around 5
years ago, and my english was (maybe still is) very funny.
Other day I found a guy selling some Famicom
Pirate carts in eBay, and that caught my attention!
If someone here is interested, I can dig a lot of cool
stuff from the flea-market that is really near my home.
There are a lot of awesome NES 60pins cart, with four games
in it --- Not only simple stuff like DigDug, Pooyan and
PacMan.
Carts with
Ninja Gaiden I, II, III and all the cool games.
And of course, a LOT of HACKED versions.
Also, I can find a lot of NES clones, and Famicom clones too.
I will be happy to help!
And Manuel, do you have contact with the Japanese Collecting
side? Do you think this could be interesting goods
for Japanese collectors?
(c:
Aaaal the best.
I will go out now, for more wine, and pizza with some
friends.
Cospefogo.
OMG!!!! Damn I want those games so much how much did they costs.
I need to check. It was months I don't go there.
Also, if we buy in a lot, we can get a good disccount, I think.
I cant give you a precise price RIGHT NOW.
It is night already...
Tomorrow I will check.
But I really believe that they are very cheap.
Hey guys,
Please, my intention is to collaborate with collectors,
not to make money over it, okay? Please don't
get me wrong!
I am just doing this because it would be fantastic
if someone from other place could make the same for me.
Not for money, but for collecting passion!
Cospefogo.
Ok.
I wanted that super mario 68 or what ever it was called?
Man, the pics from the NESWORLD article are
from almost 5 years ago. All those stuff is still there,
but I need to check it again and take fresh pics
with my camera, to see what we can get now!
Cospefogo.
ok, I would like any of those Famicom games.
Thankx
I saw that a long time ago, and it was interesting to see the 007 NES cart. nice job.
holy crap dude.. get some prices up! i'd buy some of those pirates in a second! how much are the legit games there? (snes, n64, etc) ?
Hey! that was YOU who did that article and provided the pictures? I saw this a long time ago and was like DAMN i wish i knew the guy!
get some prices! that would be awesome!
Seconded! Especially now that I have a Famicom game convertor for my NES.
Though I suspect that the legit games aren't as interesting as the hack-jobs
Hey guys!
Back from a lazy weekend with my girl, my new PC Engine and
my four cats. I will find some free time today to visit that
place I mentioned and take pictures.
The whole hell is:
They do not have ANY NES/Famiclone plugged there to
test the games, so, I will need to trust the Chinese/Taiwanese labels
or then beg for a chance of testing some carts in my home, delivering
back to them later.
Let's see what can I dig...
Cospefogo.
Hey Cospefogo, cool that your the guy from that article, anyways i am always interested in those games but mostly then the pirated stuff,as long as they look like the normal nes carts.Mostyl looking for boxed/complete but carts are ok also.Could you pm me when you have something interesting?
Thanx.
Hey folks!
Here are some pictures. I went there early in the morning today,
before work, and most of the mini-shops were closed yet.
I talked to several people but they really did not like when
I asked about getting pictures.
They are seller that are very very discriminated.
They don't pay government taxes, have no registry as
official sotres/companies and so on...
So, they are really very silly when someone hits there
with a camera!
Are you from the "newspaper"?
No no, pictures are not permitted.
I got few pictures.
Take a look!
The place, a narrow corridor full of mini-shops.
What a horrible labels! I found even
Street Fighter 2010 for NES.
I wonder what could it be that Super Mario 10, 9, 6 and 14!
Cuba (?), two Alladin games, Super Mario 14 and others... Ha ha...
Chip 'n Dale 3 - What the hell is that?
Lupin Sansei, from the classic anime.
Hary Potter, Mickey, Jewelry and Macross (with
Metroid label!)
Sazan Eyes, from the anime and Ninja Cats (AWESOME FAMICOM GAME!)
Ninja Gaiden III!
Two very alternative Famiclones. The box says: 100000 games Built in.
I am really curious about this MARIO for SEGA GENESIS!
Ouch! There are two units of this cart.
The prices:
All NES/Famicom carts are BR$10, around US$4 dollars.
All Sega mega Drive and SNES are US$8-$6 dollars.
Attention please, while in US you can get common/ordinary
games at prices like $3, $2 USD, here in Brazil the very very
lowest price that ANY SELLER uses to present is BR$10.
You can check the MERCADO LIVRE, our 'Brazilian eBay'
to verify the autencity of my information.
The minimum price you find games are ever BR$10,
or US$4 dollars.
US$1.00 = BR$2.50
I have a contact on that pirate market - someone I used
to buy a lot of alternate PSX Games in the past. If I find
the guy, I will try to bring much more pictures.
If anyone wants to buy some of the stuff, contact me.
It will be a pleasure to help!
Cospefogo.
Wow thats Great!!! How much do those famiclones go for? i might PM you abou a few. Might.
That's nice. )
Prices are a bit high, but I bet there are some titles that are worth the money.
Yes, I know about the high prices...
But this is the overall charges in all country
regarding videogame stuff.
As I said, please check the 'Mercado Livre' for idea
of all prices!
Search for NES, Nintendo, 'Nintendinho' and so on.
You will see that this is our reality.
Cospefogo.
Cospefogo, your everywhere man! The latest update on nesplayer! Kickass!
