Anybody interested in a trade? I'd take other Japanese carts or a loose Game Genie or something.

Dude,i have a loose game genie for ya if you'd like, have you got any pics you could show me,if so please pm!

Thanx,
Hakan

Here are 2 pics of the cart.

Looks ok to me, i will pm you tomorrow with a pic of game genie.

This cart is still for trade!

Anybody wants to trade a Japanese cart (I take mostly any, unless I don't own it already ) for my Dragon Quest 3 cart?

PM me or answer here. Thanks

I'd be interested in it, although I don't have any Famicom games, I do have an NTSC Game Genie...

Would that work on a European console?

I would assume that it would, since it reads the lockout info from the chip on the cart itself, so it's just simple pass-through

Cool, then I'd be very interested in a trade.
Let's do further talk by pm.

Do you have any Dragon Warrior game? I'm interested in this series.

The Dragon quest cart manuel advertised is in my collection now. but I have got a spare Dragon Warrior 1 cart if you're interested.

I have Dragon Warrior 1 and 4. I only need 2 and 3 to complete my collection. I have checked in many stores but I haven't found them. I wish I could complete my collection.

If you are interested in the Japanese version (It's Dragon Quest not D Warrior) I could look for it in Japan.
And of course I have 2 and 3 complete with boxes and manuals, but no duplicates unfortunately.

I would like to play the Dragon Quest series but I don't speak Japanese and I don't have a Famicom. What series came out in Germany? DQ or DW.

in was called Dragon Quest in Japan, everywhere else got Dragon Warrior. amd Dragon Quest is VERY japanese, I tried to play it, that didn't go well

It didn't come out in Germany.
We're not blessed with all the games as you lucky guys over the Atlantic Ocean.

Do you have Dragon Quest 8? It was released last November.

Nope. Not yet at least.
And I don't know how good/bad chances are.

Just for your info: The first "real" Final Fantasy released in Germany was part 7 for PS! (There was Final Fantasy Mystic Quest for SNES, but that's no true FF of the original series.)

As far as I know the only DQ game released in Germany is Dragon Quest Monsters for Gameboy, I'm not sure though.

The European gamers' situation isn't so sweet.

I didn't konw that situation. Do you know anything about Torneko: The Last Hope?(Dragon Quest 5)
I saw this game on sale for only $ 10.00.

mmm... not sure.

Dragon Quest 5 for Super Famicom has another subtitle. It's called 天空の花嫁, which means "Heaven's Bride".

Torneko was a character from DQ 4 ( I think...) and he got some spinoffs, because he was quite popular. He's also called "Taloon" in the West.
Those are not games from the Dragon Quest series, though.

If you like RPGs, grab it. I heard those games are quite average in quality, not outstanding, but not badd, too.

It was my mistake, it is not DQ 5, It has no number. DW: Torneko the last hope. DQ: Torneko no Daibouken. I'm trying to collect the whole series. I will buy it tomorrow.

Wo hoo, I bought it. I bought it at EB-Games for $ 7.00.

7$ is not bad. I think I'd buy it too if I saw it.
So when you play it, tell us how it is.

Since his adventures in Dragon Warrior IV, Torneko, his wife Nina, and his son Paulo have moved away from Endor and started their own shop. He's lived peacefully with the Box of Happiness. Everything was fine until mysterious dungeons and monsters started appearing all over town. So once again, Torneko has to set out to find the source of the trouble and put a stop to it.

It consists of a bunch of randomly generated dungeons, and you go through them to get something or someone at the end of each one.The game works like this: your hub is your town, and you go into the various dungeons each time at level 1 (although later on you can get a boost from a witch). In the dungeon, you move around trying to level and find the next way down, and on the map there are enemies. You walk to them, hit attack or use a spell, and then your turn is up and they'll do whatever they want. Walking uses a turn also. It's pretty entertaining if you're a DQ fan.

sounds a lot like Time Stalkers on the Dreamcast. only with movement being turn based as well.
